Hi. There is some small print which is difficult to read when the coupon prints out… I think it states the offer is not valid on certain items, including diapers.

It is a coupon book they should have in the store….

They are my favorite diapers. And my sister’s too. Just not a fan of the training pants.

As an employee of Walgreens, I feel the need to correct the diaper thing. If you were buying diapers online, the code wouldn’t work. But if you use the “coupon” in store, you’d get 15% or 20% off of diapers because it’s not actually a coupon. You’re actually getting the employee discount and employees receive a discount on diapers. The discount will NOT work on dairy, gift cards, stamps, prescriptions, alcohol and tobacco and possibly a few other things but diapers are FINE.
Patricia says
Oh and you should be able to use it at ANY register. It used to just be cosmetics and photos but we now have the ability to do it at all registers. And it says the discount doesn’t apply to photos, but it does actually work. They probably just don’t want people using it that way! And just remember to show the cashier the “coupon” BEFORE the transaction starts. If you show it afterwards or during, the entire transaction has to be voided and started over.

FYI – Just returned from WG. Yes, it works on diapers, but watch out on things with a RR w/ $X purchase. The purchase total is based on the DISCOUNTED amount, NOT the pre-discount amount. For example – the $3 RR for $10 travel sized products. You’ll need to purchase about $12 in merchandise to have the $10 needed AFTER discount. Same on the diapers for the mail-in rebate for the diapers – need to purchase 6 pkgs instead of 5. Needless to say, I got surprised on the first ring-up and had to have them re-ring.

However, coupons are NOT included in the deductions from the needed $ amount – just as usual.
