Do you have Halloween costumes your kids have outgrown or don’t want to wear again? Consider swapping them with other Moms and getting yourself some new costumes!!
Thread Up is a fun and new way to swap kids clothes and right now Halloween Costumes! It is super easy to get started, you fill out a registration and then you are able to browse boxes. you can sort by kids size, age, gender and brand. I can look for boxes that have girls size 2T with Gymboree if I want or even Old Navy, Caters etc. Plus, you can send your clothes to others!
Not only does it feel good to use thredUP, it’s also easy:
- You pack a box of your kids’ gently loved outgrown stuff
- We send you free boxes to use at your convenience
- We generate the free pre-paid shipping labels for you when your box is picked
- We even pick up any outgoing box at your house free of charge
It is really easy, and kind of fun to see what you can get, so go HERE and start looking!

I love this idea! I signed up but still unsure of how this is used? Do we pay for the items we are swapping? Is it like freecycle? I have 10 free boxes coming my way and would like to know how this works. Sorry Tiffany for doing the crazy thing. If you use it can you help?

I believe you pay $11 or so per box you buy. I signed up a few months back but have yet to try this. Kind of leary as to what I might get. It would be helpful if the person with the box could post a picture of what is inside.
