There are so many good deals right now at the stores, I am just really trying to stock up on cleaning supplies and other cheap finds while I have the chance.

Great deals on meat/protein this week: (start with this first, plan your meals around the most expensive part of the meal) * If you don’t have the same stores as I do, just start with the meat section at your store!

::FRIDAY:: – Tater tot Casserole – I asked for recipes on FB, and you guys gave me about 20 different ones to try! I have had a bag of Tater tots in my freezer for a while and have ground beef and soup already so I figured it was a cheap and easy meal! A few people suggested the Dugger Families recipe and so that is the one I will try, I am going to 1/2 this recipe!

::SATURDAY:: – Fajitas – I will be grabbing some fajita meat at my HEB. I will get both beef and chicken ( a little more chicken) hoping for extra chicken for a Sunday casserole. If you do not have  a HEB, you can use skirt steak or flank steak and just make your own.

• Peppers – Walmart
• Tortillas – Walmart

 ::SUNDAY:: Chicken PoppySeed Casserole – Make enough chicken from the fajitas the night before and chop it up as you put it away, that way you have it ready to go for this meal. This is a favorite of my kids because they usually make it themselves. Plus I always have everything on hand and it is cheap! If you don’t have leftover chicken, you can always grab a rotisserie chicken and pull the meat off or use canned chicken.

• Minute Rice – Kroger (mega event)

::MONDAY:: – Potato and Sausage Scramble – The sausage is so cheap at Kroger this week! Plus potatoes are always cheap, my kids LOVE LOVE LOVE fried potatoes and sausage. Just add a salad and call it a meal!

• Erickson Sausage – Kroger $2 (or price match at Walmart)
• Potatoes – Walmart/ or Kroger $1.99 lb

::TUESDAY:: Slow Cooked BBQ Country Ribs – Since I am back to work on Tuesday’s, I am sticking this one in the crock pot to cook all day! It will smell awesome! I might have some bacon cheddar corn bread with it!

::WEDNESDAY:: Man Pleasing Chicken – My sister makes this all the time, it is really awesome! Plus it is so super easy you won’t believe it! My sister used chicken thighs for hers, I would normally because they are cheaper, but I have a lot of chicken breasts and so I will be using those.

• Chicken – Zaycon (or if you don’t have any frozen, just grab some!)
