Just a heads up that the July special for MyLitter readers at Laraway Family Dental is FREE exams, cleanings, and x-rays for STUDENTS!
Plus, if you are a college student you also get free teeth whitening on top of the free stuff above.
Call – For Appointments 936-321-1477 and mention “MyLitter” to get your free services.
They also have 24 Hour Emergency Care 936-900-4988 if you need it, which hopefully you don’t. Since this is a husband and wife team (Mike and Asha) and they live in The Woodlands, if you need something Friday night, or Sunday morning, they are there to help!

Thank you for posting this! My brother does not have (and has not had) dental insurance. I can’t remember the last time he was able to get his teeth checked! I will be forcing him to make an appointment. 🙂

Yeah I am so glad and they are really nice. We obviously love them. This is the only way my kids get cleanings as well!

Our family of 6 started going to this dentist after your recommendation. Usually, everything you say is true and wonderful. I have to be honest and say we are not going back. We made an apt for my 16 yr old to have her wisdom teeth out. I am not an advocate for IV sedation. I had issues with it, my mom also. Don’t want it for my child. I scheduled an apt for wisdom teeth pulled and the woman dentist Laraway told me in front of my daughter that she cannot imagine why we would not fully sedate her as this was very traumatic and would hurt so very much and she had to slice into her gums and rip her teeth out and ONLY IV sedation would be best that I have to pay $300 EXTRA for that insurance does not pay for and oral pills plus gas plus shots was not enough. She went on and on until my daughter was HYSTERICAL as she was already scared and started crying and said she was NEVER getting it done and was then told she MUST get it done ASAP or her teeth would get all mess up. I work for Child Protective services and I do not feel that this was appropriate AT ALL. I feel it is wrong to try to force us to sedate our child and her husband that does sedation was not even there to do it anyway. We left with a few cavities filled and my daughter even more terrified than she ever was. I have dental insurance and our cleanings are free anyway, so I just have to say her bedside manner was unacceptable. She basically tried to say that we are terrible people for not IV sedating our daughter when I got all 4 teeth pulled as a teen plus a root canal on the same day with JUST shots. I lived and there was no pain.
