When that coupon was around the last time, my local Walmart refused to take the coupon for the $1.97 razors. I was so angry that I no longer shop at Walmart.

So question…
My Wal-Mart is very crabby when I use coupons that give me overages. Is there any rule that says that I can’t use coupons like this? Or can they refuse to sell the the items that I would like to buy? If they do refuse to sell me something, what do I do?
Thanks for your advice! You got me into couponing…I am able to stay home with my girls because of you…I don’t know if I made that little or save that much 🙂

YOu can print the Walmart coupon policy and take it in with you. If you are still having problems I would call corporate. They really don’t like stores to make up their own rules!

So I went to Wal-Mart coupon policy in hand and my coupons (the razor coupon and the Breathe Right strip coupon). I went to the register with 14 packages of razors and 16 packages of strips (2 pack = moneymaker). Well first the cashier must have been new so the manager that always yells at me came over to help (he was soooo happy to see me). First he tried to tell me I had the wrong razors, I was patient and calm and didn’t yell. Then he tried to tell me I couldn’t buy the strips because the coupon says “one per purchase”. He said that it was up to interpretation that I could only buy one per transaction. I nearly flipped out but kept my cool and gave him my thoughts that it was one per item purchased. He said nope sorry. I said (calmly…) I feel your interpretation is wrong and I would like to speak to the store manager. He said well, we will do it for you this time I guess…I walked out of the store with my razors and breathe right strips and $5 in my pocket 🙂

If you walk up to the service desk up on the wall behind the counter…bet they all have them….it says who the store manager is..and all that …there is a BIG 1-800 number…. CALL it and complain right then and there.

If you do decide to buy these razors, there is a 3 dollar coupon in the package! I’ll be using it this week at Rite Aid to purchase the Schick Slim Twin 12ct disposables. They retail for $5.99 and there is a $1.00 up+ reward on these this week making the total cost $1.99 after up+ reward! Enjoy!
