If you are new to Kroger or want a refresher, you can go HERE to see the coupon policy. Plus, you can also see what coupons they take, where to find printable coupons and also where to get e-coupons HERE. 

Every few weeks Kroger will have a mega event, if you have not shopped one you can go HERE and see a video of how I shop a mega event.

This week we have a P&G mega event! What this means is that when you are in your Kroger shopping, look for the items that have the yellow tags like the ones above. For every 4 that you buy, you will get $4 off the 4, so $1 off each one. You can mix and match, you do NOT have to buy 4 of each to get the deal. But you MUST buy them in groups of 4. If you buy 15 P&G items you will only get $12 off, you just have to add one more item (4×4 = 16) to get the extra $4 off. There is also no limit to how many groups of 4 you can buy.

Also, the sale on the cereal is a little different than what I was expecting, you get a FREE gallon of milk wyb 4 of the items above. Hopefully the Kashi coupons are still there if you like Kashi!

Boneless skinless chicken is a good price at $1.99 / lb. Not as good as Zaycon, but if you are running low, this is the place to get it this week.

This is a crazy deal but everyone is reporting that is it working!! Best Buy reportedly has the Chugginton DVD’s on sale for only $4.99 although they are probably marked at $9.99. I would have a cashier scan them just in case. There is a $4 off Chugginton coupon HERE that you can print and use making the DVD only $.99! These are the best diaper deals of the week! When buying diapers, to find the best deal you will need to break down the price on EACH diaper in the package. For smaller diapers (size 1-2) you want to be around $.09 – $.13, as you get bigger the price per diaper will go up. I always try to be under $.20.

Here is a super easy and quick FUN chicken dinner that the kids love! Plus, my kids like to make it themselves!

Foil – Pack Taco Chicken Dinner

Ingredients

  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 pound red potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup KRAFT Tex Mex Shredded Cheese ( coupon HERE)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Sprinkle chicken with seasoning mix. Place 1/2 cup potatoes on centre of each of 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil; top with chicken, cheese and salsa.
  2. Bring up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to seal each packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Place in 15x10x3/4-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (170 degrees F). Cool 5 minutes. Cut slits in foil to release steam before opening. Top with sour cream.

Is one of your New Years goals to get in better shape or loose weight is it to save money or spend less? Join about 1/2 of all American adults!

Statistics say 40 to 45% of American adult’s make one or more resolutions each year. Among the top new years resolutions are resolutions about weight loss, exercise, and stopping to smoke. Also popular are resolutions dealing with better money management / debt reduction.

The following shows how many of these resolutions are maintained as time goes on:
– past the first week: 75%
– past 2 weeks: 71%
– after one month: 64%
– after 6 months: 46%

While a lot of people who make new years resolutions do break them, research shows that making resolutions is useful. People who explicitly make resolutions are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t explicitly make resolutions.

With that being said, I would like to help and encourage you (and myself) to stick with any of the goals that you might have, and help you achieve them! I can do this for you by posting cheap and free ideas and helps for you to make it easier and help financially get to where you want to be.

Plus more personal goals that I have set for myself, and family goals Paul and I have set for our family.

This is a new Campbells soup product that just showed up in our store last month. There are the $1/2 printable coupons and so we grabbed some last night. I don’t know if it is because it is raining and cooler but I am SUPER impressed with this soup! I bought the Portobello Mushroom Bisque and it was awesome!

This bowl is an entire meal! I could even dump 4 of them together and have enough for the family with a loaf of french bread.
