I would recommend the Kindle Fire, my daughter has had hers for 2 years and she loves it. We just upgraded hers to the HD for 199-she can watch all her favorite shows, play games (educational), read books and Amazon has a great plan for $79/year you can get book, movies, etc. I love it and thinking about getting myself one too-they are a reasonable price!
