My friend Jenna is volunteering her time at the Ronald McDonald House in Houston during the month of March. Find out how for $20 you can provide a tote filled with essentials to help families who are going through some tough times.
“Thirty-One Gives is very close to my heart and I am so excited that they have now partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities. Since 1974 Ronald McDonald House Chapters have been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together – giving them a place to rest and refresh. A place that feels like home. These programs, tailored to meet the urgent needs of each community, can now be found in 58 countries and regions across the globe.
We are lucky enough to have a chapter here in Houston. Along with other Thirty-One Leaders, I will be volunteering once a month at the Ronald McDonald House. During the month of February, I will be taking donations for care packages that will be delivered to our local chapter. The package will consist of a Thirty-One Red Wave Thermal Tote, designed specifically for Ronald McDonald House Charities, to carry snacks, drinks and necessities to and from the hospital. I will be placing a care package of a couple of small items inside each bag.”
:: What you can do ::

- She will fill it, and deliver it to the families when she goes to volunteer!!
“I will accept donations until Feb. 27th. Would love to be able to take a trunk full of these Blessing Bags with me next month. I will be accepting donations until Feb 27th. I will be using all of the commission from the sale of these totes to fill them with small items needed during their loved ones hospital stay. I hope that you will join me in helping this wonderful cause!”
Paul and I are going to help round up items to go in the bags. If you have extra from your stockpile and want to donate toiletries or snack items, please contact me at mylitter@mac.com
