The Zaycon chicken event is OPEN for Houston. It is also going on in MANY parts of the country! Chicken is $1.69 / lb.

This is what to do:
- Go HERE to Zaycon Foods.
- Create an account and register.
- When registering choose your area, this will allow them to know how many people are interested in an event in that area so they can set one up. Then you will get an email alerting you to an event that is coming. It is important to choose a location/state so that if you have people in that area waiting for enough to make an order, combining you all together will do that!
- Then go to “View my account” and you can see what is coming in your area and how to order!
These events will have a pick up location, as the product is fresh and not frozen so it is not shipped.
** If you want to split an order with someone, leave a comment with your location and an email contact.
The chicken comes in a 40 pound box. It has 4 – 10 pound bags inside. This is what I did with my chicken order.
Buying in bulk is one of the ways that I save a lot of money on food. You do not have to have a large chest freezer to store this much chicken. Also, consider splitting an order with a friend or neighbor. The chicken is 100% natural chicken with no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients, and will be priced around $1.69 a pound!!!

Thanks for sharing – they have done somethings here in KC but I was not sure if it would be a quality that I would like. I will pay more attention next time I get their email about what they have.
Also something you could do (if you are one of THOSE people that plan 30 days of meals) you could spice up your chicken when you place them in the freezer bags or seal bags which I totally love!
I just checked products for our location and the only thing we have is the 93/7 ground beef and 3.29/lb. I’m sorry but my local grocey store has same on sale for 2.99/lb and I don’t have to buy in a tube. Have you bought their beef? The chicken you had in the box looked excellant and at 1.69/lb I would buy because that is a good deal. KC offers chicken regularly around this price but it is frozen. Just trying to figure out if there is a big difference in price region to region.
I would wait then for the chicken, they rotate monthly what they have, you must be on ground beef.
