- Alvin – Sat. Feb. 4th – 6:00pm – 7:30pm

- Conroe – Sat. Feb. 4th – 8:00am – 9:30am
- Crosby – Sat. Feb. 4th – 11:30am – 1:00pm

I was introduced to Zaycon Foods earlier in the year, but I did not have a chance to try it until last month. Zaycon Foods combines the buying power of many families together, enabling them to negotiate huge savings on food purchases for your family. They bring products direct from the farm / processor, so it is super fresh!
They deliver all over the country, you can take a look HERE to see what is available in your area. I know that they are planning an event in Houston probably the second week of September.
This is what to do:
- Go HERE to Zaycon Foods.
- Create an account and register.
- When registering choose your area, this will allow them to know how many people are interested in an event in that area so they can set one up. Then you will get an email alerting you to an event that is coming. It is important to choose a location/state so that if you have people in that area waiting for enough to make an order, combining you all together will do that!
- Then go to “View my account” and you can see what is coming in your area and how to order!
These events will have a pick up location, as the product is fresh and not frozen so it is not shipped.
The chicken comes in a 40 pound box. It has 4 – 10 pound bags inside. This is what I did with my chicken order.

Tiffany, what do you use to seal/freeze your chicken? I have a reynolds hand held vacuum sealer and the bags are discontinued. I need to buy a foodsaver–so I am comparison shopping 🙂 I am stressing–I can’t find a good cheap foodsaver, so I am going to have to buy new. I want to order off ebay, but it won’t get here until Tuesday. How soon do you put yours in the freezer? I don’t want he 40lbs to go bad :/ Help 🙂
I am using a food saver. I had left them in the fridge for a week and then sealed them and they were fine.
