I am so EXCITED to be able to finally tell you about how to get an AWESOME deal on fresh chicken, beef, fish and fruit!
I was introduced to Zaycon Foods earlier in the year, but I did not have a chance to try it until last month. Zaycon Foods combines the buying power of many families together, enabling them to negotiate huge savings on food purchases for your family. They bring products direct from the farm / processor, so it is super fresh!
They deliver all over the country, you can take a look HERE to see what is available in your area. I know that they are planning an event in Houston probably the second week of September.
This is what to do:
- Go HERE to Zaycon Foods.
- Create an account and register.
- When registering choose your area, this will allow them to know how many people are interested in an event in that area so they can set one up. Then you will get an email alerting you to an event that is coming. It is important to choose a location/state so that if you have people in that area waiting for enough to make an order, combining you all together will do that!
- Then go to “View my account” and you can see what is coming in your area and how to order!
These events will have a pick up location, as the product is fresh and not frozen so it is not shipped.
The chicken comes in a 40 pound box. It has 4 – 10 pound bags inside. This is what I did with my chicken order.
Buying in bulk is one of the ways that I save a lot of money on food. You do not have to have a large chest freezer to store this much chicken. Also, consider splitting an order with a friend or neighbor. The chicken is 100% natural chicken with no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients, and will be priced around $1.50 a pound!!!

how did your meat ship or did you pick up at one of their events?
Also, if you separate the chicken breasts with parchment paper you can easily take out just one for cooking. The frozen meat doesn’t stick to the parchement paper. A good way to store 6 breasts in one large bag and yet not have to take out all 6 to thaw or cook at once!

Are the chicken breasts boneless?? That is all I buy as it is so easy to thaw out and not worry about the bones. I’m just picky with my chicken lol..

If you all email z@zayconfoods.com and ask them to set up an event in The Woodlands we can get something a littler closer to home. At least it’s closer to me than all of the options they have now.

You only showed one bag of chicken breast. Is the entire box / all 4 bags chicken breast, or do the other bags contain the other parts ?
It is all chicken breasts. All 4 bags are breasts.

I was curious about how many chicken breasts 40 lbs is. No idea how many would be in a pound so I can’t just multiply it out in my head. Many thanks! (An estimate would be perfect, I don’t want you to have to go and pull them out and count them all!)
