I wanted to give you an update. This is working well for my family! I will definitely keep doing them each week. I am going to try and plan them around the current Kroger and Randalls ads (what is on sale for meat etc.) if you do not have one of these stores DO NOT WORRY! I am also going to try and have a croc pot, stove top, oven etc. meal in there for variety.
I printed my list and went to the store on Monday. I put the weekly plan on the fridge. WHAT A STRESS RELIEF! Knowing what we are having and everything being there is really nice. Plus my husband works at home so he can look at it and get things started without me being there (which is a miracle altogether!) and it is easy for him. I am LOVING it.
Mondays meal took loner than expected but it was REALLY good and is a keeper. Tuesday was AWESOME!!!!!!!! We are sad there are not more leftovers! Make sure to try the Slow Cooked Barbacoa Pork .
Ok so on Facebook, you guys DID want a weekly menu plan+ printable grocery list. I am going to try and get this up on Monday mornings, I have Monday’s off work (when I am not in the Fox studio) and so it will be midmorning. If you have any good easy, healthy, or favorite recipes, I would love to post them and love to try them myself!
Monday – Chicken – Zucchini Alfredo ( prep time 11min, total time 30 minutes) Salad, and french bread.
Tuesday – Slow Cooked Barbacoa Pork ( toss in the slow cooker in the am before work, ready when I get home!) Serve with rice or on rolls like a sandwich!
Wednesday – Chicken Apricot Drumsticks ( I might do just plain with seasoned salt, but this is a quick meal!) Serve with Au Gratin Potatoes and applesauce.
Thursday – Chicken Broccoli Braid ( See recipe below. You can add pepperoni and pizza sauce and make it a pizza type in stead!) Serve with a salad.
Friday – Pizza! No school today and homemade pizza night! See Recipe HERE.

Did you have Tuesdays pork on rice or in a sandwich? Just wondering.
Tiffany says

Everything here looks DELICIOUS! 🙂 We make a really yummy and quick baked ziti recipe that has pasta sauce, baked ziti, squash, a little ricotta and mozzarella cheese on top! (just throw it all together in a casserole dish and bake at 350 for 35 mins or until cheese is bubbly) you do have to cook the noodles first, but you could always put this together the night before and leave it in the fridge until you are ready to bake it the next day.
You can get a jar of pasta sauce and a package of Ziti for only $1 at target after coupon from their website and coupons.com has the kraft $0.50/2 coupon available for the cheese!
