Walmart: Black Friday Price Guarantee

Walmart is changing the Black Friday world yet again! There is a 1 hour guarantee that Paul posted about with the top 15 deals last week that WAlmart is doing this year. Thanks I Heart The Mart!

One-Hour Guarantee:  Due to the large quantity of product already secured, Walmart guarantees that customers who are inside the store and in the queue line between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time on November 22 can purchase the following electronics at special low prices:

• Apple iPad^®2 16GB with Wi-Fi – $399 plus get a $75 Walmart Gift Card
• Emerson^® 32” 720p LCD TV – $148
• LG^® Blu-ray™ Player – $38

If any of these items happen to sell out before 11 p.m. local time, Walmart will offer a Guarantee Card for the item which must be paid for by midnight and registered online. The product will then be shipped to the store where it was purchased for the customer to pick up before Christmas.

So, basically, this is a game changer for Walmart and its customers. This change allows customers for the first time, to get through two of the queue lines during the sale… as long as they can get through the first line and INTO the line before 11pm on one of those 3 items listed. IF THEY ARE STANDING IN LINE by 11pm for those 3 guaranteed items, they will be able to get the sale price. Customers will not be given sale price if they attempt to get in line after 11pm.
