My Staples has these on sale for $1 this week. Since they were only $1, I decided to try and get 4 packs of pens = $4.00 and use (2) of the $2/1 Q’s making 4 packs free. It worked out the way I planned, all I had to pay was tax. I imagine if you just get 2 packs, they’ll have to adjust the coupon down. You’re better of getting 4 packs. If you have a Staples in your area, you could also price match these at Walmart.

How close does the store have to be in order to price match? Wondering if we can price match staples ad here in the woodlands and magnolia area.
You might be able to. I would try~ It is usually up to the store manager, but I think all the Woodlands stores do. i know Sawdust does for sure.
Seems like a silly question but how do you price match with Toys’r’us and Staples at Wal-mart when we didn’t get an ad in the paper this weekend? Was it just my area that didn’t get those ads or do you have to go to the actual store and get the ad when not in Sunday paper?
When you price match at Walmart you do not have to have the ad with you. As long as the item WAS in the printed ad that week you are ok! If there is every any problem, the price match guarantee says you do NOT have to have the ad with you. http://www.walmartstores.com/10563.aspx
You could also show the cashier the item on your phone… That’s what I do when I don’t have a store ad with me..

I went to a different Walmart than I usually do and once again had a problem with overage on the coupon. I picked up the Zebra pens and used the $2. ( I could use the $1 off other items rather than more pens). After two people said no, the third said , see if the computer takes it. At the end she told me she was doing me a favor since you cannot price match and use a coupon on the same item. I am printing out the coupon policy today and taking it with me every time from now on. So that as I walk away I don’t see at the workers staring at me . Thanks for having them so easily acceptable Tiffany.
