It’ll be interesting to see how this program pans out………personally, I’m hating it so far (don’t like change, lol!). It seems more complicated and more difficult to track (making sure that you are getting your points.) I can see how it would be very easy to just let your points lapse as opposed to having an actual physical RR in your hand, you’re less likely to not redeem the RR.
To my understanding, you have 3 years to redeem them. But you have to use your card every 6 months to keep them. I am waiting to get 40,000 points and go in and get $50.00 worth of FREE stuff! We’ll see how that works out! lol 🙂
I really see no advantage in the points program. Of course, over the past 2 years, the RR program has also taken a huge hit. There was a time where you could take advantage of several “free” RR’s every week.
