This week at Walgreen’s is just okay. I was hoping for more but if you really look there are a few good deals. If you’re just staring out at Walgreens there are a few rules to keep in mind so be sure to read my Walgreens 101 before heading out to the store.
I will be adding a “filler” item into the certain transactions because the RR is a manufacturer catalina coupon, you can not have more manufacturer coupons than you do products. This is where a “filler” will come in. This week I’ll be using Nice Gelatin 3oz – $0.25 each, with Easter just around the corner it should come in handy. If you see a better deal in-store go for it!

I love your scenarios, but my local walgreens will not allow us to use RR bucks and still receive RR bucks back. If I were to use $5 RR bucks it would not print my $5 in RR bucks I should receive. Does any one else’s walgreen do this. I still get good deals but never as good as you show or other bloggers I follow. Just thought I would pass this info along.
That is correct, you can not use the same RR to purchase the same items and get RR again. You can purchase something that gives you say $5 RR for shampoo and use that to purchase a razor and get back a $4 RR. but you could not buy the shampoo again with the $5 RR. I hope that makes scense!
I wanted to let you know that yesterday at Walgreens the Gillette Body Wash was on sale for $2.19. After using my $2.00 coupon from my binder I ended up paying only $.19, with the tax the final cost was $.21. This was in Humble, TX.
