This weekend I posted a deal at Walgreens online that was for diapers at $4.29, they had been $52. This was a great deal and many of you got it before they were sold out.
Now, many are getting cancelation orders that they are not going to be getting their orders. Walgreens is saying it was a mismarked product and they are not honoring the price.
Walgreens has the right to do this. It makes us mad, and it is their mistake that someone priced something wrong but they can cancel it. Many companies will go ahead and send the items out, and chalk it up to happy customers and loyalty, but in this case they don’t want to.
This kind of thing happens often online. Last year Walmart had Pack N Plays for $130, they miss marked them at $13.00 and I was able to get one. I was expecting my order to be canceled but it wasn’t and I was sent a letter from them saying they made a mistake but they are still sending it to me and they did.
When they sold out this weekend, some people were upset that they sold out, and called Walgreens demanding that they get to order them at the low price. I don’t understand this kind of attitude? When an item sells out, it sells out. Calling and demanding that you get the same price and taking it to management probably drew a lot of attention to the price and got everyone else’s orders canceled. We originally didn’t know they they has miss marked them, it looked clearanced to me, which means it will likely sell out at that awesome price.
In closing, I really hope that many of you will still get your diapers!! Sometimes we just get lucky and score a great deal! If you didn’t get them this time, there will always be a next time where you might get lucky and someone else doesn’t. Just be a good sport and don’t ruin it for everyone else!

hey tiff!!I agree..the other day i hit up my local grocery store for some hamburger that was on sale for 2.49(my pretty good stock up price)i was getting quite a few(5)5lb packs so i could do some freezer cooking(never enough food for 7 kids as you know)anyway i grabbed 5 and when checking the price noticed 4 of them were .40 cents or less..for the whole pack!!!i had an internal arguement with myself and then told the manager..who gave them to me for that price..he said it was their mistake but he was going to honor the price on the label!!!but i would not have DEMANDED them at that price!!sorry about the diaper deal for everyone!!thanks for keeping your eye out for all the deals!!
