I went to Krogers last night and used the $1 off cpn for the beechnut rice cereal and used my rainchecks to collect some free items from the week before.
It’s so helpful to know your stuff. I go late on Tues. so I can go “kidless”. The only registers opened were the self check. I asked the cashier how he wanted to handle it b/c I had rainchecks. He told me I couldn’t use my cpns b/c I was already getting a deal (they were a 10 for 10 items.) I laughed and said “yeah right! These will be free.” So, he took care of it. Well, when it came time for coupons, I counted them and I had 15. He only scanned 11. I’m not even kidding. I counted them and told him I had 15. So, he added a few more and brought me to 14. I recounted and told him he was still missing a coupon. Can you believe that? I should report him. That was $4 I almost didn’t get off my order.
I had that happen at Kroger the girl was putting the coupons in 2 different piles and pretending to scan some. I asked her why and she said you can’t use those, so I said to take the products off. I asked why she wasn’t going to tell me and she wouldn’t respond. I emailed kroger corporate about it and they didn’t even respond, I was a frequent shopper there until 2 weeks ago of at least 3-5 times a week. I haven’t been back.
Yikes! $99!!! that’s pretty steep 😛
