Has anyone local tried this? Just curious to see if both the $10 and $3 RR and $3 cat are printing in TX. In other parts of the country they are not.
Sharon says
I am in MS, just went there, it didn’t happen, so have to return everything.

I’m in Baytown, TX and just did the $30 P&G deal this morning. All three printed out for me!
Joyce says
Printing in Illinois :).
anna says
does this mean that if you buy 2 liquid dish detergents @1.79 you will get the $3 RR and the $3 mystery RR?
samantha says
I’m @ Walgreens right now and the Gain powder isn’t ringing up $5 =(
Pattie says
It didn’t work for me and I’m confused. I asked the Walgreen’s clerk if the $30 is before or after coupons. He said before. Well, it’s not. My total was $27. So, I had to return everything, get the coupons back then add an item to make it to $30. It doesn’t seem worth it because you still have to spend thirty bucks to get 10 dollars back and the prices on some items are a little high. I won’t go back to Walgreens, they make everything more difficult and your time to spend your register reward is shorter than the ECBs at CVS.
Lu says
I just did the deal this morning & my total P&G BEFORE coupons, etc. was $31. My OOP was $21.34 and I got back $10RR, $3RR and $3CAT.
Sorry you had a problem. Walgreen’s is a little more difficult when it comes to the RR’s … but it has been well worth it for me.

is the 5.00 gain deal in house
Ana says
Pattie- That sounds like one of the Walgreens in my area. They are always making up rules. I take the coupon policy because one time they made up that I could use only 3 RR and coupons per transaction?! But not all are like that.
Tiffany- It is before the coupons, right? I know the CVS deals always work out before the coupons.

Yesterday I purchased 4 gain powder detergents, and 2 liquid detergents which made it $30. Then I used the 2 off coupons on the powder and the 1 off coupons on the liquid which made it 20 bucks. Then I got the $10 back along with 2 $3 register rewards, which I then used to purchase 2 bags of chex mix, 2 packages of scotts paper towels, which are also on sale in house for $4, and I printed off a $2 coupon online, 2 things of dawn and some other items. Thanks so much Tiffany. This really helped me!!
Pattie says
Ana, good to know it’s not just me.
It’s weird because the manager told me and then specifically told the clerk it was after coupons. Ugh, I feel cheated. I’m going to look up the coupon policy and if it is before coupons, I’m going to take it and show him. I have had that happen twice at that store and it just isn’t that good a deal if I’m still spending $30.

Just one $3 RR is printing now….

I’m in California. The powder detergent is not on sale, but the liquid is. I received the $10 RR as well as the $3 RR, but not the bonus $3 RR.

Im in Houston and this deal did not work for me I purchased 4 Gain liquid detergents and 3 Bounce Dryer Bars Total:$32.00 I used (4) $2 off each (1) $2.50 off Bounce (2) $1.50 off Bounce = 18.50 + tax don’t remember exact but I only got a $2.00 gain RR Manager said it was because I used coupons I just cancel the transaction . What am I doing wrong? I did use a $5.00 P&G RR Do you think that was the problem? I will try at a different store tomorrow but would like some feedback/Help before going. Thanks
Silvia says
Daysi,
Yes your deal did not work because you used a P & G RR. You can not use a RR to get another RR from the same company. Gain is a P & G company. I’m in Houston too and the deal worked for me. Just make sure they press subtotal before handing in your coupons. I had to go to another store before I could do this deal. They try to tell me it was because the deal only works when your total is $30 after coupons. Not true. Good luck.

I live in W. Houston and I can’t find any of the 30 load powder for $5. The only thing I have found so far is 40 load for $10.29! Is there anyone is this area that has had any luck finding the 30 load for $5?
Melanie says
my friend just went on her lunch break and did the deal where you get 2 dish soaps and 1 laundry and it did not print the bonus $3 RR from Gain!? We are in Huntsville, TX
rocio says
I did that transaction yesterday and only one $3RR printed.. Once I got home I checked WildforWags.com and she said now the bonus $3 Cat is not printing anymore
rocio says
For you in Houston, Food Town has the 31-40 load detergent for $4.55 and the liquid dish for 77cents and they are printing the $3 Cat
