I just did something crazy! I know, I am living on the edge 🙂 I went and signed up for a Netflix account. I am sure that many of you already have one, and this is old news, but I actually didn’t know I could have been using it with our Wii. I signed up to use it with the PS3 and it was super easy! I have a bunch of sick kids and ran out of movies so I went over, signed up, entered the code found in the PS3 users manual and TADAAA! We are watching James and the Giant Peach!
We are sooooo bad about returning movies to Red Box, I am almost better just buying the movie in the first place. PLUS I get a FREE trial month so I figure it was worth a try! Go HERE to take a look!
I am on the $7.99 a month unlimited plan:
- You can instantly watch TV episodes and movies on your computer or right on your TV via your Wii™ console, PS3 system, Xbox 360 or other devices that stream instantly from Netflix. Watch as often as you want, anytime you want.
Do you use Netflix? Do you like it??

We use it and I LOVE it!!! As a busy SAHM, I love being able to drop my watched DVDs in the mailbox on the way out of the neighborhood. No more dragging the kids out of the minivan to return movies at a Redbox or Blockbuster.

Yay! We have Netflix as well and LOVE IT! We used to have Blockbuster but being able to go and watch movies thru our Playstation 3 makes Netflix worth it. We do use Redbox from time to time but having to remember to take it back sometimes slips our minds. Hope your kiddos get to feeling better soon.

I so understand this post! We just got a Wii in November and we signed up with Netflix. It is the best thing ever! I don’t think the Wii was turned off for a whole month! I’m thinking I don’t need all that cable I have now!

We have Netflix and LOVE IT! We use it with both our Wii’s and computer’s. The kids love it and my daughter watches it in her room, and I love the fact there isn’t whining about trying to find something to watch. I was the same way with remembering to return a movie to Redbox, so this saves us a lot of money 🙂 After signing up for Netflix, I downgraded our Directtv. I do hope your kids get to feeling better! This bipolar Texas weather we are having is keeping everyone sick I think.

We use Netflix on our Wii, no DVDs at all, and it is WONDERFUL. We don’t have cable TV, we don’t even get channnels on our TV, but with the Netflix, I don’t even miss it. We can watch entire seasons of shows, all kinds of movies, and never a single commercial. Totally worth the price, and the quality of picture and sound is usually indistinguishable from watching TV.

I may have to do this now that we have a wii, but I canceled Netflix when we just got it through the mail. There were several times that we received scratched and damaged dvds. I felt at that time it was not worth it… this however sounds like it might be great.

We switched from cable to antenna in the summer of 2009. We signed up for Netflix shortly after and it is well worth the money (we’re on the $9.99 plan).

I was a hold out for a long time to but now that we’ve had it a few months I would NEVER go back! We were able to cancel our cabel subscription thanks to Netflix and Hulu.com! 😀
