CVS has updated their coupon policy again, this time in our favor! Good for them! The part to pay attention to is the BOGO policy. It says that you CAN use 2 coupons on a BOGO and that you can use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale making both items free! Thanks for the email Patti!
Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offer, if required by applicable state laws. Two coupons may be used on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion as long as it does not exceed the item total

I am so glad that they finally addressed the BOGO free situation, but it’s still kind of sketchy to me. They say you can use 2 coupons on a BOGO promotion, but they don’t mention anything about BOGO free MQ’s. IMO, it seems like you can use 2 coupons or a BOGO free coupon in combo with a BOGO free sale, but NOT an additional MQ on a BOGO free MQ. Ex: You buy Suave Shampoo & use a BOGO free MQ, but you cannot use an additional $1/1 MQ on the “free” item? Idk, what do you think? It only says promotions -is that the same thing as a sale? or does promotions include a MQ as well?

Hi.buy one get one free items were really 50% off sale. So how does that mean that you’ll get both items for free if you’re purchasing a buy one get one free item and then using a buy one get one free coupon. wouldn’t it be half off of half off. I’m still confused can you explain in more detail please.

Anonymous,
If the item is BOGO by the store, then the second item is free, then you’re manufacturer Q is giving you the first item Free after getting the second item that the store actually paid for. Easy peasy. Don’t question it too much 😀
