This week I have to take a little break from chicken :) I had it all weekend! If you want to send over some recipes or leave them in the comments of meals and dishes that your family like I would really appreciate it. Also, if you have any suggestions as to what kinds of meals you are looking for leave a comment as well.

** Also, 3 of the recipes call for Worcestershire sauce this week so make sure you have some!

MondayGrilled Pork Loin Chops – Get your pork loin chops at Randalls/Safeway this week, they are on sale for $1.49 a pound. I am not heating up the grill but using my Grill Pan HERE that I love! We will have a salad and probably apple sauce for the sides. Plus there are a lot of coupons that came out this weekend for the ingredients!

Tuesday - Sloppy Joes or Manwiches – I prefer to make my own Sloppy Joes!

WednesdayAngel Chicken - I couldn’t totally skip chicken this week!  I have wanted to try this recipe forever and so I can’t wait! All you need is some brown rice and maybe a salad!

Thursday – Stuffed Bell Peppers If you think your kids won’t like this, just serve them the filling inside the peppers. I have not met a kid that doesn’t like hamburger and rice! Serve with mashed potatoes as a side or salad.

Friday – Homemade Pizza or try Pita Pizza.

Thanks for the recipes – I am so trying your sloppy joes – my kids HATE the can version – so just maybe they will like your homemade version.

I am going to try the angle chicken also – sound so good and easy – anything in a crockpot – gotta love it.

I am so excited to try these new recipes. I already went to Randall’s and bought the items. Since my family is smaller than yours the meat manager was nice enough to half the value pack of pork chops and freezer wrap them for me. Thank you for doing this. I feel like I cook the same meals over and over and you have spured me on to try different recipes with the match ups.

I also feel like I cook the same thing over and over again looking for new and easy recipes. Thanks for posting your weekly menu. I’d like to try the chicken recipe but I don’t have any italian seasoning, what can I substitute.

Thanks

Wow, the Angel chicken was so delicious. Big hit with the family. My daughter even liked the mushrooms.
This is how inept I am at cooking, when I was at the grocery store I bought White Wine Vinegar, not dry white cooking wine. So, I used chicken broth instead and it was still delicious. I still don’t know where to look for this wine in the grocery store. Could you prossibly point me in the right direction?

Oh my gosh, this is my childhood sloppy joe recipe. The only difference is my mom used a can of tomato soup instead of the tomato sauce. These are always a big hit.
