Have you tried this deal at Food Basket? They told me that I couldn’t get this product as th price was A Penny less than 1.50, th Triple value of th coupon!!!!
Was that the only think that you bought? Sometimes you need to have multiple things in your order.
I was there today and had no trouble. The cashier just adjusted the coupon to make it $1.49
do they have cheaper prices than say kroger on most things? im thinking of making the 15 mile trip… worth it?
Tessa — it’s a very small family owned business. They do not carry a lot of the brands you would find at a bigger store. I found the older cashiers to be unfriendly — so I try to shop later in the evening when the teenage crew is working. They will only double/ triple 1 like coupon, just like Randall’s.
I partially agree with you. When I first started shopping there, the “seasoned” cashiers working mid-day weren’t too happy about seeing a big stack of coupons. I got the impression they thought I was trying to scam them. The more I shopped there and they realized I wasn’t trying to cheat them, they warmed up a little. I try to shop before 10:00am whenever possible. The store manager is usally checking and she is a sweetheart.
