Tonight I went with Paul to walk Walmart and get his drugstore lists written up. Every week he writes up the top 5 deals from the 3 drug stores that you can price match at Walmart. Why would you do that? So you only have to go to 1 store and not all 3. Plus, many times the drug stores are sold out and Walmart has more stock.
I can’t tell you how surprised I was to find the great deals in the CVS add that did not require ECB’s back to make it a good deal! Here are my favorites!

Just a heads up, the $.75 coupon for the Dawn Plus works for the pink bottle of Dawn that is on sale. I bought 9 bottles @ CVS for $.25 each.

It is the small General Mills insert we got that week.

Wonderful! Do you have a list for Rite-Aid? 🙂
Any problems price matching the Chex Mix at Wal-Mart since the CVS ad doesn’t state a size?
I have found that my Walmart doesn’t carry some of the sizes that or in comp ads.My sister also said that her Walmart pulls some things if it’s a good deal and then doesn’t restock it until after the sale is over.Like this last week 1 of the comp ads had 10lb bags of Chicken Leg/Thigh Quarters for 29 cents a pound and also had Family Packs of Ground Beef for 99 cents a pound.I told my sister how I was getting the 5.5lb Family Packs of Ground Beef for like $5.34 and then I was using a coupon for $3.00 off any Beef or Steak when you buy any Bolners Fiest Spice (I buy the Anise that is 58 cents) and my total after the spice and Ground beef with my comp ad and coupon is like around $3.00.And I told her she could get the 10lbs of chicken for $2.90 just by using the comp ad.She said she went to her Walmart and they had pulled both of this meats and said they wouldn’t have anymore until like Tuesday.Hmm that’s kind of weird since that’s when the sale ends.Sounds like maybe her Walmart is trying to beat couponers at their own game.
I have heard people say that but it doesn’t make sense. Why would Walmart not want to move product and sell items? I know that people say it happens I just dont get it.
My husband used to work there. Items that are not sold can be returned to the venders for credit. Sometimes that is better than losing money. After all they are business.
