Well, I am sad and feel like we got a little screwed here with our Target deal this week. While 1/2 of the country is stocking up on frozen goods and getting $5 gift cards for doing so, we get…. a freezer bag?
But, if you are into freezer bags (they are kinda nice $3.99 value) there were a few things that I found at my store to make it a good deal!
** Just a heads up, when I went to check out the cashier told me the freezer bag deal was only good when you bought Lean Cuisine Meals. I think she was thinking of a del a few weeks ago. I showed her the ad and explained they had an advertisement on EVERY door of the freezer section. After 10min and a manager later, she agreed that I was right and all was good. 🙂

I was not about to buy anything that I didn’t need just to get a free freezer bag, so I am sure there are more under $1 deals. Let me know what you find!

ran in on my lunch break because i knew the good stuff (almost free stuff) would be gone if i waited too long. Grabbed the .97 veggies then spotted with my hawk vision .62 pot pies. get to the register and they didnt ‘signal’ the cashier for the GC. Went to customer relations where manager said, i think its only on the pictured items. no, its not, the signs are plastered throughout frozen section. she calls grocery dude to confirm.. um really? a stock person is going to tell you? (no offense, just sayin’). well, we can give you the $5 off your order. I politely said, please return these because I got them for the specific purpose of getting the gift card. She did and was if not ditzy, uninformed, and misguided- nice.
I did score two pairs of free jeans for the mini-me so im pleased. Frustrated that each location has different interpretations of their ad. where is corporate when you need it?
