we used to get the local paper for free with coupon inserts but it randomly stopped. I cannot find the number to try and resubscribe (something I did several years ago when this happened). I know it is through the Houston Chronicle but noone at the regular number knows what I am talking about. The top of the local paper used to have the number but I have long since thrown out the front page. Do you have that number?
Not sure what area you are in, but you might try the community papers. In The Woodlands we get The Villager. I call it the throw-away paper because no one seems to want it, but it does have coupons from time to time. You can try this info:

I got some papers today (Saturday) and there wasn’t a Playskool insert that I saw. Is it hidden somewhere? I did check the Parade. No coupons there.

There were 5 inserts in all the Early Sunday edition of the Houston Chronicle that I bought. I just didn’t see the Playskool coupons mentioned. They did have the Pampers coupon.
In Lumberton today the Houston Chronicle had only one insert..last week same thing..week before same thing..I think the people that deliver them are taking them out..I know the store and they say they are not doing it..they do have to watch the papers nodays so people dont take the inserts..burns me up because I already have to get up and get my papers at 6 a.m. Sorry just venting…

In my Houston Chronicle this morning I got all the inserts but the Playskool, and Komen Race for the Cure Everyday Saver. But out of my 5 papers there were only two of the $10.00 pampers coupon, I don’t really need those but that’s not really the point, it seems like every Sunday I’m missing something. Just found that on the Target site they have Target coupons that match many of the Playskool coupons that were supposed to come in the insert. Target has a lot of the toys on sale this week also.
