Ouch! My grocery store let me use mine when it were expired. I only had one and told the cashier that I knew it was expired before hand, but I wasn’t sure if they still took them. She swiped it and it worked with no issues.

Ouch, I have done that but never so much. I am sure there is a good reason you forgot about them there. Makes me realize I really should clean out my purse more often also!

My store takes them when they are expired up to 3 months expired, if it isn’t being too rude could I please have them?

At Acme, I can use the $ off coupon if I have a receipt for that time. Worth a shot

Do any stores near you allow you to use a coupon on a previous purchase as long as the cpn was valid at the time?
I’ve been there, too. I now pin mine to my front door if expiration is in a day or two. I refuse to throw any more away. 🙁

yuck. my store will take them. talk to the manager on duty first and explain that you’ve lost your mind, you have a litter of kids, the dog ate your homework, anything! they’ll probably take them.
Oh, no….I hope your store will let you use it, most of time they won’t but maybe some of them will be nice to you.

I would try it too. Sometimes my store, not a Kroger we don’t have them here, takes them. What’s the worst that could happen? I would just try to go ASAP. They seem to be more lenient the closer to the expiration date. Sometimes they will even let me use my expired coupons if I have a rain check for the item. Another one of my grocery stores, it’s a little bit of a drive but they take expired coupons all the time!!

Arrggg…I have also tried asking at the store before and at CVS they will let me use them. No harm in trying to ask at Kroger’s too!
I totally understand. Went black Friday shopping, went to Target and totally forgot to use a $10 off coupon. I am still alittle bothered by it. Thats why i havent told anybody. Lol! But your such a pro am sure you.will get these and even better deals.
My Target will let me bring in my receipt and the coupon I forgot to use and give me cash back, called a “missed coupon…”
I would find the manager and ask if you can still use them? The worst they can say is no and if they say yes, well then SUCCESS!

Wow…you must have been really distracted. =( I remembered too, I had some in my purse. Left it next to my debt card so Id not forget. Yes I would def ask to use, nothing to lose there. They could say yes…?
Ouch., I finally put my Winn Dixie like this and any store cash coupon or eb in my folding money section of wallet so I have less of a chance overlooking those! After letting a few expire!
It hurts, but… I’m so comforted to see that even the professionals do this sometimes!
If you are a regular at a certain store and they “know” you they will probably accept them expired. I would definitely go try.
Been there and done that too….makes me crazy! I would try to see if Kroger will let you use them….Doesn’t hurt to ask. CVS said I couldn’t use one if it was expired. Lost some but not as much as you had…Thanks for all you do! Enjoy your day
OUCH! I had a $2.00 expire yesterday….I just found it today as I was prepping my coupons/list for this week….I agree with everyone else…see if they’ll let you redeem them…I think with those paper style coupons they are easier to miss…try putting them with your cash or debit cards in your wallet…I have started doing that with my ECB’s after I almost lost a $10 one…good luck!
I had $8.00 worth that expired that I found in my purse while cleaning it out last week. Perhaps I can learn a lesson from this! Made me sick to my stomach. Probably should have tried to use anyway.
Well on the plus side, I bet even without the catilinas it was still a good deal.

I feel your pain! I had a $10 and $2 RR expire — I did cry!
This had to be the BIG Kroger event!! I’m so sorry, but there would be no harm in asking! I did that event and had a hard time tracking ALL of it!! At my store the Domino sugar was never in stock. I checked everyday and my friend called me and said it was on a endcap. So the next morning I went and bought 4 bags. I did not realize that they were 2 lb. bags instead of the 4 lb. bags-for the same price! I LOST 8 lbs. of sugar! I was MAD!! So I went in and asked if I could return the sugar and the guy behind the counter gave me a rain-check for as many bags (4 lbs.) as I wanted for $1.49 each. That was with my .50/1 coupons!!! He was so awesome!!!!
I’m sorry 🙁 but it’s also kind of nice to know that I’m not the only one!!
