Shrinky Dinks (remember these?!) on sale!

 

My kids have actually been making Shrinky Dinks all day long! We were running out of paper and so I went on Amazon to get more when I saw the Shrinky Dinks Deluxe on sale for LESS then what I paid at Joann’s yesterday with my 40% off coupon! They are only $16.99 on Amazon. The set was $28 at Joanns.

I did these as a kid all the time. I got some yesterday so my kids could try it and we finally got to them this morning. At 9am they started coloring them. At one point I had all 7 at the table making them all together, I wish I had a picture! They have had such a blast!

 

This little guy has been coloring and making “monsters” all day long. The boys have had just as much fun as the girls.

These are just some of their treasures they have made today.

If you are not familiar with Shrinky Dinks, you must be younger than me! 🙂 They are sheets of “paper” that you can trace or draw pictures on. Then you color them in with colored pencils or permanent marker, cut them out and pop them in the oven for about 3 minutes. They SHRINK about 3x smaller! They are really hard and you can make them into game pieces, jewelry, key chains and ALL KINDS OF STUFF!

It is a lot of fun for kids. Keeps them busy!
