At Randalls yesterday I found quite a few good deals that I want to talk about. If you read fast and skim you miss deals and there are some good ones TODAY only, (removing my teacher glasses) “so pay attention!”
This was a “stock up on deals” trip, so not what I would feed my family in a week. But replacing what we have been using for the past 3 months. Bring your coupons with you, because there are a BUNCH of deals in the store that are unadvertised.
If you have a Safeway, deals should be good at your affiliate stores, like Randalls, Tom Thumb, Dominick’s etc.

Like I said in a post yesterday the Oreos were only $1.99, which is a great price. I bought 12, I use these for lunch and desserts. I got pretty much one of each kind of Oreo, may be we will have a taste test 🙂

I went to Safeway on Friday to grab a few things and ended up walking out with $180 worth of groceries for $68! My Safeway had tons of lunchmeat and bacon marked down to $1 or less. They also had the lunchables with fruit for $.69. I also stocked up on totinos pizza because I had a coupon for $5 of $15 saved from one of my magazines (maybe women’s health?). I absolutely love, love, love Safeway’s clearance!
Yeah I got some really good deals today too. But the checker didn’t change the price on my rain check item! So I went back to the service desk and she was so confused she didn’t account for my coupons. So now I still have to go back again. (NOT cost-efficient o make separate trip). All this confusion coulda been avoided if the sale price PER ITEM would show up on the receipt!! Sigh.
I thought Ragu deal was for 3 days. Sunday through Tuesday. Did I read the add wrong?
Online it says Sat and Sun only. Then in the paper ad that we got today it says until Tuesday. So I guess we find out tomorrow if it is still going!
I ran in to Wal Mart to price match the Ragu last night. I thought the paper said thru 9-11- only! I had to jump on the Oreo price match also. Thanks for all the great info Tiffany.
I ended up getting the Ragu deal today (Monday) but the Oreo cookies were $3.29 how did you get them for $1.99?

I got the Ragu for $1.11 plus had a coupon. Randallas also had small seedless watermelon for $1.00. The cashier couldn’t believe the price. Also pair your Randall’s coupon with manufacturer coupons on the Betty Crocker snacks (Fruit Rollups/Gushers), the Green Giant frozen veggies and the Betty Brocker Supreme Brownies! Great Deals!
Tiffany, glad to see you make mention of ~50% is good a Safeway… that has always been my goal there (and Harris Teeter too) since i’ve never been able to score a $2000 for $20 shopping trip, they are not the norm. I figure if I can save 50% on every shopping trip, I’m going great with the coupons…
