I just got back from stopping at a little “farmers market” by my house that I thought was definitely worth mentioning. “The Veggie Lady” had a really good selection for this time of year, much of it she had grown herself. The prices I thought were very good also. Apples $.99 lb. Romaine ( she cut that morning) $1.50, Pineapple $3, Free Range Eggs, and much more.
Location:
3118 Sawdust Rd. ( at the corner of Sawdust and Glen Loch)

Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.
Self proclaimed, she would be a webkinz dog. Because, "they're cute, and puppies are too. And they're sweet and they always get along with other puppies."
This mini-Martha Stewart can handle ANY craft you send her way. She isn't all bows and rainbows, she's got karate kid moves!
Not "Pick-Me-Up" like caffeine, she wants you to pick her up! AND NOW!
Anything that can be destroyed WILL be destroyed!
Practically Perfect in Every Way for now! Nicknamed "The Panda" she is rolly polly and lives by the motto, "the little one, is KING!"
The resident Labradoodle, Miller got his name because Mom won and got to name the baby! Need something chewed up? He'll take care of it. Especially if it's expensive..
Thanks! My husband loves farmers markets! We will visit this one for sure.
Is this back on that sharp curve?
it is right on the corner of glen loch and sawdust. So further down… away from Walmart. It is in the parking lot of the little car repair shop by the convenience store.
LOVE it, Tiffany you know I live pretty close to you, I used to visit the farmers market every Saturday in the Woodlands, but its closed till the Spring, but i always get the BEST finds in eggs, veggies & grass fed beef! I am happy to hear of a place close by that offers the same things!
I’ll go check her out. I go to the one at Grogan’s Mill when its operating.
I pick up my eggs at Back to the Farm. They are at the Grogan’s Mill one, but they live back here by me near the TWHS 9th grade campus. The eggs are huge and so good. I’ve never had a problem with them.
Last time I bought lettuce at the F.M. I was disappointed because it was bitter. I’ll try hers and see if its better than Neals.

Thanks Tiffany for your support and encouragement!! I love hosting the market, and chatting with all my veggie friends! “Fresh-Is-Best”.
