Shoot! I should have tried it while I was there! I would ask in the store if the cereal price is mix and match, but I am thinking that it is , so buy 1 trix, 1 cheerio and 1 chex and the 4th of whatever coupon is $1/2 and that should work.
You can definitely mix and match and if you are short on cereal coupons or need something else, the Special K bars are included in the deal.
Do you have to do them in all separate transactions of 4each or can you do them all in one transaction.
They are going to have to be in 1 transaction to get the $1.49 price. What you can do on the Cheerios is use different kinds of Cheerios coupons to have more than 1 double if you happen to have them. Otherwise the first coupon will double and the last 3 (or 2) will be face value and you will pay $.99 for each box which is still an awesome price!
I had 2-$1/1 total cereal coupons from somewhere?? they were cut off a box of who know what…? anyway, total whole grain (the only variety my store carries) is also part of the $1.49 cereals.
Didn’t notice till I got home they have mail in rebates on them! (the cashier had trouble getting any of my coupons to scan, so my receipt say I bought 2 quanity for $2.98) I paid hardly nothing for mine, but free? I’d purchase that even without coupons:)

The Randalls at FM529 and Hwy 6 is closing effective 5/19/12. I hate that since I liked their deals and now there will be one less competitor. 🙁
We just got $1/2 GM coupon this weekend. I got mine today. Ran to Randalls and got eight boxes for $8!!
My local Vons, which is an affiliate of Randalls, told me yesterday that they wouldn’t take more than three like coupons in one transaction. The supervisor, who turned out to be my cashier, told me all the employees had to sign something recently acknowledging this policy. I was surprised by this and went home and pulled up their coupon policy. It didn’t mention this new limitation. I am confused now. Has anyone had this happen to them at a Randalls/Safeway affiliate recently?
It has happened at a few. It is not in the coupon policy and so that is a tricky one. If the manager is saying that they obviously will not change their mind. If you have another one you can shop at I would do that.
