I did this deal expecting to get back 3 catalina’s for the Nut Clusters. But, you do not get them for the Clusters you have to buy the Nature Valley Bars. That’s o.k. it was still a great deal on the Cluster’s I am totally addicted to. What do they put in those? I can’t put the bag down!

Anyway, heres the break down,

Ran to Target to get a few more Kashi items and use up my coupons. Glad I did!

6 Kashi Frozen waffles at $1.89 used $1.00 peelies from cereal box.

First, let me say, I bought these for me. As an anniversary present to myself.

I am not going to tell you how much they cost because my husband occasionally

looks at my blog.

But, it could possibly cause a divorce.

This is why I am giving them to one of you lucky readers, after you pry them from my hands.

I have VERY small earring holes in my ears. It is really hard to find earrings that fit me. I knew that and took a chance with these because I LOVED them sooooo much.

Why do I have small earring holes you ask?

I know you weren’t going to ask, but I am going to tell you.

Because my Mother pierced my ears when I was 12, sitting at our kitchen table. She used a can of cold Coke, a needle, thread and a potato. After she numbed my ears with the cold Coke she put the potato behind my ears and poked the needle through with the thread attached. When the thread was through, she cut it off the needle and tied the thread into a little loop that was an earring of sorts for a few weeks. Every day I would put rubbing alcohol on it and twist the thread around so it wouldn’t grow back over the thread.

This is why I have small holes.

And why I am now giving away these gorgeous earrings that I can’t wear.

So here is the lowdown on what they are made of…

Sterling silver wire,hand formed and wire wrapped with fine

silver.

At the bottom of the hoops,hangs off a combination of garnet,turquoise and carnelian,all tied with sterlig silver

wirework.

The earrings are approx’ 1.7″(4.5cm).

The Metals –

sterling silver 92.5%

fine silver 99.9%

If my store is doing this, wow, all I can say is wow, wow, wow! This is what she had to say…

“This morning, as I was filling my cloth bags with newspapers, the lead manager of my favorite store shared a bit of upcoming CVS scoop with me… CVS will be rolling out a new MONEY MAKING opportunity for their Greenest of GREEN shoppers beginning in October!

Wah-Hoo! I like making money- especially while being GREEN!

It seems that CVS does not like me bringing my Rite Aid bags into their store each week to carry all of ‘my’ newspapers home in (OK, it is kind of embarrassing to bring the competitions bags into another store, but I did get my Rite Aid bags for FREE and I do want to ‘save the world… hold on a sec, I’m hugging a tree!).

So CVS devised a plan to bring the Earthy kind of “GREEN” and the spendy kind of “green” together. CVS will be rolling out their recyclable bags ($1/bag currently) with an additional feature… a bar coded tag, similar to the Extra Care cards that we all know and love.

My insider scoop revealed that each bag, post purchase, will link (most likely) to your CVS card and every set of 4 scans of the bag’s bar code (limit of one scanning per day per bag) gives loyal CVS shoppers $1 in Extra Bucks! (That’s like getting a $.25 bag credit vs. $.05 at the grocery stores!) CVS, once again, is brilliant!

Pretty cool huh? Can‘t wait to see what I can do with this!
