Fuel points works by awarding points for spending at Kroger. The customer can redeem points for a $ amount off each gallon of gas.
- The 2X Summer Weekend Fuel Program starts Friday, May 1, and runs through Sunday, August
- During this time, customers can earn double fuel points from regular grocery purchases every time they shop on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- To receive the additional points, customers must download the one-time 2X Summer Weekend Fuel Program digital coupon or use the paper pass during each trip.

Fuel Reward points can help customers save up to $1 off per gallon at Kroger Fuel Centers and 10 cents per gallon at participating Shell locations.
