A good friend of mine is an amazing seamstress, I drool over all her designs! When she suggested a trade I was ALL OVER IT!! I had been wanting one of her “mail bags” for my little girls, seeing how they are really into mailing things…
I had to pry the bag from Storie’s little fingers this morning to take a picture, she had slept with it. Shelly really put so much detail into everything. The felt letters on the bag are all perfectly stitched on, the felt letters all have stamps and addresses. They are really nicely done and perfect for little hands to play with. This is the necklace that I made for Shelly, I think it turned out darling. A larger patterned disk is the backdrop for two smaller disks with her girls names on them. It is perfect to wear everyday, not too big and not too small. I normally antique my pieces quite a bit as I like the old look, but my sister convinced me to only do the disks on this one and I love how it looks. Besides, it will naturally tarnish a bit over time.

This is beautiful – I have never seen your work before. I LOVE silver, and you are very creative. I really liked your "No Greater Joy" and the neclace you made for Emma, but if I had to pick one I would like something just like the one you made for Shelly, but with my husband's name and my name on it.
