This is the recipe we have been using with the cream cheese, it is really good, and since National Lasagna day was yesterday, I think it is perfect!
Chicken Lasagna (Thanks AllRecipes!)
Ingredients
- 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 6 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 cube chicken bouillon
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 (8 ounce) cooking cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Directions
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
Meanwhile, place the chicken in a saucepan with enough water to cover, and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes, or until no longer pink and juices run clear. Remove from saucepan, and shred.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Dissolve the bouillon cube in hot water. In a large bowl, mix the chicken with the bouillon, cream cheese, and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
Spread 1/3 of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover with the chicken mixture, and top with 3 lasagna noodles; repeat. Top with remaining sauce, and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven.

Tiffany, what brand/kind of spaghetti sauce do you usually use for this recipe? I tried it with Hunt’s & I feel like it needs more kick. Thanks so much.

I found some Philadelphia Cooking Cream recipe books at Kroger at N. Loop and I-45 in Conroe on Wednesday. It has several recipes that look great in it.
If you are nearby it might be worth a stop. They are located in the cabinet by the single door by the registers.

I got some of the cooking cream free a few months back and got hooked on it for making mashed potatoes- they are so easy and so tasty.
In a pot boil, 5-6 large red potatoes (cut in quarters, I leave the skin on) and one 12 oz package frozen cauliflower (a sneaky chef trick) until mash ready. Drain, then using your electric mixer whip with 1/2 container of the savory garlic flavor cooking cream. Serves 3-4 (doubles easily). Yum!!
