See, it all starts good, he has no idea what is coming.
He is starting to figure it out. He is getting very worried.
Seriously, how could I??
Now I am going to have to pull out the big guns. He won’t sit still, and at 17mo. yelling and bribing aren’t an option. I can’t wait for those days!
O.K. now that he has chocolate, I can cut around the ears…
This is where it falls apart! There is hair everywhere and
it is now stuck all over his face and hands.
Someone call the health department.
Just keep unwrapping the candy, just keep unwrapping the candy.
This is really the embarrassing picture, baby in a diaper covered in hair and melted chocolate, wrappers everywhere, sitting on a table. Wow, and people pay to have this done in a nice salon, my kids are really suffering, they will never know!
See, things are getting better. Now comes the bath and a new baby!
Am I the only Mean Mom who cuts their kids hair at home??
Will they ever forgive me??

Ha, ha…I have never taken my kids in for a hair cut and I never went to school to learn how to cut hair. So it's buzz cuts around here. In that light your kids are lucky! He's so cute!! 🙂

when we were sealed my friend cut my son's hair for the first time but I am almost certain since then my husband and I have been the only ones who have cut it, he has never had it done at a salon and to be truthfully honest, I don't see the need, he is a boy, it is short, no biggy….if we had a girl it woulut. My husband cuts his own hair and about a week before school started last year dominic took it upon himself to cut his hair too (he looked like he was being preped for brain surgery)

That is great! Actually, I used to cut Rachel's hair and Paul cuts his own hair and all our boys hair. But we are now in the preteen years for Rachel and I decided I was done. Your story reminds me of just about everytime Jared got his hair cut when he was younger. He would cry everytime one single hair hit is face. So by the end his face was covered with tears and hair, not a good combination for a boy who is overly sensitive to anything near his face, but it sure looked funny.

My parents did not pay good money for me to go to cosmetology school. That doesn't stop me from cutting my kids' hair – except my 4 year old. It is worth it to me to take him elsewhere and pay good money for someone else to do it.
I have to tip well.
BTW, I still love the pickle juice pictures.
