Sigh, I hate drama, I just don’t have time for it. I am too busy being a Mom, wife, sister, friend and too busy running a few different businesses to be bothered. Every now and then someone will bring something to me to get my opinion in a very nice, unassuming and innocent way and I realize that there are a lot of people who have nothing else to do all day but swim in drama!
Recently, a no name “blogger’ has attempted to push traffic to her site by bashing the LuLaRoe clothing company ( full disclosure, I am a retailer for them since 5/2016) she allegedly is a former retailer, again I have no idea even her name (I don’t care) and if she is even telling the truth, but that is a typical tactic of any page with no views or declining views trying to get traffic. See, what you do is find a HOT topic and write about it, push it out to social media and hope you get picked up by someone, and LuLaRoe is a HOT topic! In just 4 years they have grown like no company ever has, they did 1.6 BILLION in wholesale sales alone in 2016. They are on every up and coming list out there, LuLaRoe is changing the way we buy clothing online. Which makes them a very big target for people desperate for traffic to their websites.
Let’s get back to the drama part though. Are you ready for this BOMBSHELL?
Answer me this? Have you ever known a parent who saw a kid struggling with drugs or other problems and in an effort to help them they had a relative help them find a job? What if they got them a job in a warehouse to give them a chance? Then, have you ever seen that kid screw that up because they just don’t have everything together yet? Raising my hand here! I have totally seen that, A LOT! It is sad and heart breaking for all involved, and sadly I have seen it happen.
What is worse is when you get a blogger who is happy to see this happen to someone. Direct quote from the no name “blogger” we are referring to, “As a writer, a blogger, a journalist- this story is a dream” which they are more then happy to exploit 🙁
The allegations are coming from an email they allegedly received in their in-box from a Woman who was stealing clothing from LuLaRoe and re-selling them. She was pissed she was terminated from LuLaRoe and decided to take everyone down around her. Sounds about right. This woman allegedly made friends with Alex Brady, who is Deannes Stidhamns son she adopted from Romania when he was a teen, when he worked in the LuLaRoe warehouse. She used him to help her business by texting him asking tons of questions about shipping times, the ordering system, and could she get better prints. Eventually she talked him into sending her 8-9 boxes a week and she would just transfer money to him.
This woman was so selfish that even when they rest of us couldn’t get any TC leggings, you guessed it, she was able to talk Alex into getting her a few boxes. She brags that in only 4 months she had paid Alex enough money that “Alex enough money for him to put down a nice deposit on a Harley Davidson Motorcycle.” Yikes. It gets worse.
Alex crashed the motorcycle and (this is where her story gets a little confusing because somehow Alex owed his former drug dealer $5k and it had something to do with the motorcycle I guess?) and “the drug dealer was threatening to “break his legs” and hurt his entire family.” Alex was terrified of this happening and because his Mom had given him a second chance, he was desperate to not have something bad happen to them or to disappoint his family.
Again this woman seeing an opportunity, said she would pay him $5k if he would steal that much in LulaRoe for her “Business was picking up from summer again so f*&% it let’s do it..” is what she said. After all, she brags she had already made $280k off LuLaRoe and all that other stolen inventory, so let’s keep this going! Right?
Well this is where it falls apart… Apparently Alex ended up getting fired from his job at the warehouse and wasn’t able to get that inventory for her. She gets pissed and wants her money back. But since what she was doing was stealing in the first place… who are you going to complain to? Alex was no longer working there, so there wasn’t much she could do. Plus, she was “terminated” from LuLaRoe as well, for stealing. As she should have been.
This is news? This is cause for drama all over the internet?
This is where I get back to being a Mom, wife, sister, friend and too busy running a few different businesses to be bothered…
