We have used a “tag a long” on the back of my bike for MANY years! Having so many little kids we have many times had 3 kids that could not ride a bike and only 2 will fit in the bike trailer, so we use a tag a long for the older one.
We ride bikes ALL THE TIME and when I had mine out the other night I had 3 people stop me and ask about our tag a long.
Currently my 7 year old rides with me. She can ride a bike but isn’t very confident and if we go as a family she has a hard time keeping up and gets frustrated and so we stick her on the tag a long. My husband pulls the trailer with the 2 smaller kids.
I ride her to school most mornings on it, and then I ride home with it empty without any problems. My 4 year old rides on it as well and does really good!
