Why do you hate the fuel program? Seems like it’s better than nothing to me…
Because their prices are $.10 more than anywhere else and so you dont save anything, plus to use your rewards you have to go to a Kroger fuel station and I dont have one by me.
Our shell participates in the Kroger fuel program. Wondering if any others do?
Yes they do in Houston, but some of the points you can only redeem at Kroger stations.
Grrrr! I, too, hate the Kroger fuel program. The two Krogers closest to my house don’t have fuel centers, but there is a Shell nearby that participates. But you can’t punch in your phone number, you need the actual card, and you can’t get more than 10 cents per gallon off. The gas on my side of town is always more expensive, so NOT WORTH IT, Kroger! There. I feel better now!
The bar s link printed me a coupon for $1/1 3lb box of corn dogs.
This week, for the first time in ages, I drove right past Kroger and on to Randalls and Walmart……
That lovin’ feelin’ is definitely gone from my Kroger shopping!

I may have just broke up with Kroger, too, after shopping there for more than 20 years. There is the nastiest woman there who runs the front end. She has made it her personal goal to catch me doing something wrong with coupons (which I don’t.) She saw me getting in line today and took over for the cashier in my line. She read every single coupon and matched it up with the items in my cart. Along with a lot of sighing and eye rolling, she refused to take two soda coupons that were clearly marked ‘manufacturer coupon’ because they also had a Food Lion logo. The Pepsi delivery guy knows me and gave me extra ones and specifically said ‘you can use these anywhere. Food Lion is just a suggestion.’ Anyway, I don’t think I can take her anymore!

I am also not liking Kroger any more since they don’t double or triple coupons anymore…that was the only reason to shop there instead of Walmart…
Yep I split from Kroger havent been back in 2 wks 🙁 I too hate the gas deal I agree Kroger is 10 cents higher and the shells are 15- 20 cents higher and I dont plan to spend $1000. to save $1
I quit Kroger because the spokeswoman claimed for weeks that their new savings plan would save customers more. It only saves more, when as Amber above stated, you spend more. (i.e. $1000/1.00 off) I think it saves Kroger more. I also think maybe those “7% of Households” are spending their money elsewhere. Hope Kroger counted on that.
