In the middle of trying to pack for our camping trip I realized I had almost forgot it was MEGA DEAL WEEK at Kroger! What was I thinking??? The SALE ends Tuesday at midnight and it was Monday evening, I must drag evenyone to the store and NOW!
So the deal is when you buy 10 select items you get $5 back, you can do this three times in a transaction for a total of 30 items, each time through the checkout… (are you still following me??) I had so many coupons that matched up with the sale that I had (OK I didn’t have to, but to get the deal I had to) to go through 3 times = 90 items. …Can someone put this into an equation for me??
Now imagine doing this with 5 kids, one who was flailing violently in the little magic car grocery cart due to being woken up from two naps earlier that day. Since Rush is only 14mo. I cut him some slack and opened every box I had in the cart of snacks he MIGHT like. Tucker was lucky enough to be at a friends house so he missed the fiasco.

Wow that is a super awesome deal, I wish I could figure out how to be that thrifty. Although even if faced with that opportunity I don’t know that I would be brave enough to go through that ordeal three times, and I only have three boys (well and one on the way). My hat is off to you lady, good job!

I bought 10 of the exact same toilet paper. Love that Cottonelle!!! Having all these little girls. We go through it rather quickly… I think I’ll run back today and get 10 more!!
I used to do grocerygame.com-I had so much fun! They let you have a 2 week free trial. Also-when I couponing there was a public newspaper recycling center and I would grab all of the Sunday inserts,you might see if there is one close to you.

Our Kroger deal is still going on this week. Not sure if they extended it but glad I didn’t miss out!
I came looking for camping pictures! Guess I will give you a couple days 😉 I did my Kroger this last week. I still don’t know how you save that much. I keep telling myself that it is because you have more papers. Oh well, I still spend $51 dollars and saved $63! Also got some awesome Redkin (sp?) deals. At least I think I did….Between 2-3 dollars for the shampoo and conditioner and between 3-4 for something called men’s paste.
