kroger mega event daytona digital coupons

Coming up this Wednesday we will be seeing a new way to do the Daytona Mega Event at Kroger. We will have digital coupons to load to our Kroger cards. These coupons can be used 5x each in a single transaction, and loaded 2x during the event. Since a mega event runs 2 weeks, you will be able to add them now and than again next week.

These coupons will not double or triple and they can NOT be combined with a paper coupon. Go HERE for more info.

Limit one use per digital coupon. Digital offers are not eligible on Manager’s Specials, cannot be combined with manufacturer paper coupons on the purchase of a single item, and do not double. Not all items are available in all stores. A limit of 150 coupons can be loaded per household at one time.

This is a good time to get a Kroger card if you do not have one already.

*My thoughts: Although these coupons seem like a great deal, and higher value, I feel like this is the beginning of the end as far as coupons at Kroger. They want to phase out paper coupons, but you will be so limited on digital coupons. We will just have to roll with it and see what happens….

I don’t really like digital coupons. I’m hoping that the ol’ timey paper ones hold out; after all the companies that print these things have a lot at stake for stores to continue to take them….

i have a question about one of the digital coupons on kroger’s website. the bounty coupon says “Save $1.40 on Bounty when you buy ONE Bounty” so could you technically use the coupon to buy the single rolls?

I tried and it didn’t come off. Customer service said I would have to call in about it.

Quick question, do you by any chance remember what the price for the frito-lay cheetos was the last time? Randalls has them for 1.49 ea. this week but I also see that they will be included in the Daytona + the .40/1 coupon. Do you think they will be less than 1.49 at Kroger in this Mega event? Thanks!

I don’t understand why Kroger continues to believe that they have not lost customers since they stopped D/T almost 2 years ago. The stores are mostly empty and cashiers are standing in the aisles begging you to come through their line! I doubt I’ll even shop Daytona event this time around.

Is this just a certain area or in the Houston area too? Thanks!

this can be a good thing knowing that my paper doesn’t get many coupons at all in it and will save me from having to buy them, but with only 1 limit, that kinda stinks cuz you cant stock up on cheaper items anymore. even with 3 people in my house, i like to buy a few things and freeze the extras.
