I went “Krogering” yesterday too. I bought many of the same items, but some different ones as well. While there, I ran into a friend who retired from Kroger last week. She told me that the employees in her store were told that this would be the last Mega event that Kroger has, so I should stock up. So I did. 🙂 I got $131 worth of stuff for $58, and $16 back in Catalinas, so I was pretty happy. I would have liked to get the Reach floss and toothbrushes, but my store was already sold out. The problem now is where am I going to store 20 packs of Capri Suns and 30 boxes of Ziplocs??
When does this sale end?? I don’t get paid until tomorrow?

I’m new to this and do not understand how ya’ll got so many capri suns, etc. I have the ibotta app but for example…how did you get so many capri suns?
There was no limit on the amount of Capri Suns I could buy. I had 10 of the buy 3 get 1 free Capri Sun coupons, but I only used 5. 20 boxes should last us until the end of the school year. I had 15 of the $1.50 off 2 boxes of Ziploc bags, so I got 30 boxes. They were not even giving me grief about the number of coupons this time. 🙂

Kroger in the 10,000 block of Westheimer has Capri Sun for $1.49 with the Mega Sale. I bought 5 along with with 5 other items, use B3G1 Free coupon, spent $5.96 on the Capri only and got back $4.00 catalina. That’s $ .39 PER BOX!!! GREAT DEAL!
Awesome trip!!! I moved to Texas and never had a Kroger by me to shop at so I am not understanding the deals. I live near Clearlake and my Kroger does not double coupons. How can I get the deals that all of you are getting? I am really trying to understand how this is done. I shop CVS and Walgreen’s very well but almost always pay full price at Kroger or Heb. Can some of you post examples for me to go shopping tomorrow. I am in need of a huge grocery shopping. I appreciate you have this site and I am trying to get the deals that others are stating that they get. HELP!!!
Debbie, I think most of us are in Houston and none of us can double and triple! You are NOT alone! Ok so the big deal is that it is a mega event. Shopping the items on a mega event even without coupons, makes the items a GREAT deal. Add in coupons and you have the perfect storm!
YOu are buying in multiples of 10. Buy the items that are on sale and use a coupon on them. They wont be free, but they will be really cheap!
