Wednesday morning I am getting ready to make a few quick things to get a jump start on food for this weekend and so I don’t have to spend all day in the kitchen.
I am making some snacks and twice baked potatoes ahead of time. The snacks I am sealing and trying to keep the family from eating until Friday and the potatoes are for Sunday dinner, I will freeze these and put them frozen in the oven on Sunday. I plan on spending about 1 1/2 hours in the kitchen at the most in the morning.
If you want to see my Holiday Recipe list and plan, you can go HERE.
I will update you how it goes in the morning but this is my plan:
- Wash and put potatoes in the oven.
- Help daughter make cookie dough for a cookie exchange in the evening.
- Make Puppy Chow
- Make Ranch Oyster Crackers
- Clean up that mess
- Blog for a little while
- Get potatoes out of oven, let cool
- Shower while they are cooling 🙂
- Scrape out potatoes and make the filling, add it back into the potatoes.
- Wrap in saran wrap and put in freezer.
- Blog again, and then head out for the day! Hopefully it is around 10am.
