My last date night was when the Bounty Hunter came to theaters. We couldn’t decide what to do with ourselves because we are so used to having the toddler around. My husband and i ate kept debating movie or rest.
I don’t have kids but my hubby and I are very busy so Saturdays we love to go to the park I take a blanket, glasses, cloth napkins, soda or a bottle of cheap boone’s wine (if available) and we stop by to get a $5 pizza and we just enjoy the ducks and the company that to my during these hard financial times is worth more that a fancy restaurant. We enjoy each other to the max and we don;t have to spend a lot of money and we can say we went out on a date!!
The last date night my husband and I went on was just out to eat. It seems like things are so crazy right now, I am kinda like you and it seems like if I make dinner one night out of the week we are doing really good.

I would love to win this. As a working mother of an 17 month old, I do not even remember my last date night… I think it was before my son was born. We celebrated our 4th anniversary 4 days before my son arrived and we went to dinner.
Hmm… with our youngest two being 11 mo. apart (ages 1 and 2) and a seven year old dates are few and far between. Let me think… oh yes now I remember it was back in June. I made grilled romain salad, a steak, and baked potatoes. We put the two babies to bed and put a movie on for the 7 year old. We ate on the porch. Our 7 year old got more excited about it than us and picked us flowers and put a candle out. ๐ I could really use a date night!
Sara… holy moly! 11 mo apart? are you carzy?! WOW!
11 mo apart? thats really neat, my girls are 14 months apart the oldest halloween day 07′ and youngest new years eve 08′, it gets easier but it seems like twins (you have to but two of the same thing or they fight) :0)

Our last date night was at Barnes and Noble. We sat across from each other in the peace and quiet and just enjoyed talking:). We have 3 kids under the age of 6 so it was very nice!!
My husband and I actually just went on a date night…he spent 3 weeks in Korea (for work) by himself, I got to spend 3 weeks at home with 7 kids by myself…so I made him take me out to dinner at Olive Garden and a movie. It was nice. ๐

Dinner and a movie without the kids!
My hubby and I dropped our five children off at his parents one day last week and went out to dinner at Chili’s. They are running their two for $20 special right now. We sat down and I noticed that no one came to our table for a while, but it was no big deal. A bit later the manager came to our table and apologized profusely for us not being greeted and offered us two for $10 instead of two for $20! We hadn’t complained or anything; he just offered! So out meal ended up being $12 plus tip!!
I subscribe via email; does that count as an entry?
Yes!
date night? whats that??
haa well really we keep saying we want to do it more often adn things get busy! That is so sad. We make sure to do one if we get free tickets to a movie or something alittle more affordable! this would be great! Im glad you got your date night-I bet you need some grownup timw;)
My last date night was at a small country catfish cabin type place, I’m a vegetarian but my bf loves fish it was so much fun! By the way kind of new here and LOVE your site!
Date night what is that? We have recently moved and we don’t have any family around or have not found a babysitter yet so I guess this would make the perfect date night.

I know for a fact when our last date night was…the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 2008 at my favorite restaurant, The Melting Pot,. My husband and I teach (well, I’m staying at home this school year) coach different sports, are parents, and run a farm. Unfortunately, starting the farm takes up every bit of time and money. In order to spend time with the hubby, I have to go into the barn (which he’s building by himself-and yes, it’s way bigger than the house) and spend time with him there while he’s working.
When it’s raining and we can’t work on the farm, we work on finishing the interior of the house (yes, the barn will be finished way before the house ever will).
It’s a great way of life, I wouldn’t change it, though it would be nice to sit back one day and say that we’re bored! ๐ We’re trying to work hard now while we’re still young so in several years we can spend more time relaxing and less time on the to-do list.

On our last date night we watched a movie at home. I believe it was the movie “Brooklyn’s Finest”.

We left the baby with grandma and went to a movie!
We keep talking about a date night but seems the weekend’s fill up way too fast! I would love to do stay-in date night!!
Our last date was in September and not at night. My mother-in-law watched the kiddo’s so my husband and I could go to a OU game ๐ It would be nice to have a night out with my husband without an additional 70+ thousand fans yelling in the background!

Our last date night out was over a year ago before our youngest son was born. Shortly after his birth, we move states and thus have no sitter. I have learned to enjoy home dates and hope we win this!
I think my last date night was our Anniversary. We saw “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” then used a Groupon for a local restaurant, then had a VERY special treat with dessert at the Melting Pot. Interestingly, we had free passes for the movie, the Groupon (which I used my credits to buy), and paid $16 for the Melting Pot. So we had a great anniversary date for $16. Oh and my friend babysat my son. It’s not very often we get to do that though.
Ummmm … yeah. It has been a while. Our last scheduled date night was last month, when I ended up in bed with a fever and he ended up taking care of everything for two days while I slept it off. We never did get to reschedule. So a date night would be nice for my awesome hard working hubby!

Our last date night was for our anniversary in June, the typical dinner and movie but it was fun
our last date night was after a particularly rough saturday with the three kiddos. At 6:00 I told my husband to call the sitter cause we needed to go out. We threw frugality out the window (gasp) and went to PF Changs and then got Cheesecake Factory to go for dessert.
We finally had a date night for our 10th anniversary, after 7 1/2 years…
Our last date night was a lunch at a tex mex restaurant. My hubby takes a day off once in awhile and while the kids are at school, we’ll go and have a nice meal. No need for a babysitter!
My last date night was last Thursday for my husband’s birthday. He works crazy hours and I feel like I never get to see him. Luckily, we were able to take a mini vacation to Galveston and relax. It was a great date weekend.

Trying to remember our last date night, not sure how long ago it was but we went out to Chilis because I won a $30 gift card from one of their promotions ๐ We never go out unless we have a gift card somewhere since it is just not in the budget.
We went to dinner last weekend. We decided against going to a movie so we could watch part of the Rangers game at the restaurant.

Our last “date” was last week. I picked my husband up from work for lunch in between running my errands, and we ate sack lunch in a park near his office. ๐
With 2 kids under 2, dates are few and far between! But, we have managed to make every Friday night – Date night. Even if it’s just spending cuddle time on the couch talking with a glass of wine after the kids go to bed. Last Friday, it was delivered pizza (enjoyed with the kids) and wine and a movie after the kiddos were down. It was perfectly relaxing. If we win the giveaway – we’ll be cooking on the next date!! Woo-Hoo! I think cooking together is so romantic!

My last “Date Night’, hummm about three months ago. My children sent time with their grandparnets.(Who are only in Texas twice a year) So, I jumped on the chance to spend time with my honey. We went out to eat ate a local mexican resturant and then to the drive-in. (for a double feature) It was just nice to be me, an not MOM!
Our last date night was a few weeks ago, when we went out to the movies to see “Toy Story 3”.

The last date night we had, was really an afternoon date. We went and had lunch and then a movie. It was the first time since my son has been born that we left him to go out. My husband did not want to go home. After the movie he offered ice cream, park and a blanket or a “cheap hotel”! LOL. This made me feel like he had enjoyed the time with just “ME”. Could sure use another one!
We had an awesome date night a couple of weeks ago for an insurance agent’s dinner at a fancy local hotel. Granted we were surrounded by insurance nerds, but we kindof ignored the company and took some time to enjoy each other. It is so fun to dress up now and again and not end up with food smeared on your dress from little kids!
Our last date night was 4 years back when we were in our home country just before we moved to US. After being here we haven’t had money to spend on a sitter as we are both students. Hope we would finish soon. Looking forward for that day. Would LOVE to win this.
I didn’t get invited over? Whatever. I’d better win now to make up for it ๐
Jeff and I pretty much do anything we want to whenever we want ๐
My last date night was on our anniversary day, we had dinner at a Japaneses restaurant.

Dinner & a movie – then we played Sequence!
The last real date night my husband and I had was the week after Christmas year before last. We have 4 young children and don’t get out much unless you count dance class or gymnastics! My husband, bless him, planned the night for us and surprised me. He arranged a babysitter to stay over and all he would tell me was to pack one change of clothing. Before we left the house I talked him into telling me where we are going. His idea was for us to go camping in a tent over night together…outside…on the ground. I love love love him but I was not up to this! He said, “but we used to do that all the time before we had kids!” (13 years ago – I was a lot younger then!) I used all the diplomatic skills I had and coaxed him into springing for an inexpensive hotel room instead for the night! (Did I mention it was December and freezing!) We had a blast after all in the nice, warm hotel room!

Our last date night was when my parents came to visit a couple of weeks ago. We actually went out to a quiet restaurant and had a full conversation with limited interruptions. With 4 kids that’s pretty rare!!

I just received an email at my job – UHCL – for free tickets to the hear Clear Lake Symphony play this Friday. We need a break – seeing that my husband had a whole week of a training class and we had to cancel our New York trip we had planned next month. An extra date night – being a winner – would be great.
Date night… really people do those? 5 kids under 8… This is funny, last date night was to a wedding, in March of last year… 9 months later baby #5 was born… maybe THAT is why we haven’t gone and any lately??
Our last date night was the night before our son was born…a year and three weeks ago! We went to Outback Steak House. We are ready for another date night!
Our last date night we went to see ” Life as we know it” and then got some pretzels.
Our last date night was on my birthday in August. It’s been too long! My mother-in-law watched the kids and we went out for a nice dinner and just took our time talking and enjoying each others’ company. That’s all I wanted for my birthday!
We went to our favorite resturant, and got the giggles so bad, I cannot even remember about what ??? And, we don’t even drink !
Our last date night we went out to eat together at a restaurant that we’d never been to before. It was a lot of fun!
As I sit here I am trying to remember & nothing…I can’t remember when we had a date night. We have twins with special needs & don’t get much alone time. Thanks

My hubby and I actually has a date night last week. We went to our favotire restaurant it was great! I told him we should always have a date night planned during hunting season since I feel I never get to see him!
I love those dinner kits – I’ve sworn off of Hamburger Helper, but I do like these. Date nights – wow, a rare occurrence. Probably 3-4 years ago, we went to an Indian restaurant while my mom watched the kids. Thanks!
Our last date night would have probably been when my first son was a baby and we went out to eat for our anniversary (2 years ago).
Still trying to remember my last date night outside the home….. With three young children and no family nearby to babysit, we got creative for our last “at home” date night. We gave the kids a perfect night in their eyes with dinner and a movie. I fixed a simple favorite for them, put on a great movie and my oldest “was in charge.” (I was just on the other side of the door but she felt so mature!) My husband and I sat on the deck and grilled out. I splurged on some great steaks. We had an affordable, delicious dinner in peace while watching the sunset. My kids had a great time too…and I didn’t have to pay a babysitter!
Last date night outside the house?? Umm..not since before my 3 yr old son was born. We do watch tv together on the couch everynight when my hubby gets home from work and our son is sleeping. Good thing we like the same shows! ๐
Our last date night was right before our little guy was born. My mom babysat our toddler and we went to dinner and a movie ๐
Our last date night was last Friday. My thoughtful husband asked his central office that any work orders for the town that my mom lives in be sent to him (she lives 4 hours away). Then he came home Thursday and asked me to pack overnight bags for our family, we were going to visit! Our date consisted of walking through Rite Aid & then ice cream at Baskin Robbins, which we don’t have at home. And Nannie watched the kids.:0)

Our last date we went to a matinee movie, did some shopping and had dinner at an Italian restaurant.
My favorite date night was when my MIL watch the kids for the day while my husband and I watch movies at home and ate in the living room in complete comfort. For dessert we had bannana splits.

We’re now planning our wedding and looking to buy our first home! Needless to say we’re on a tight budget! Winning this would still enable us to have a nice, fun date night!

On our last date night, we were both so tired out from the week that we ate at a ‘sandwich shop’ and then went to a local park and sat and talked until the park police pulled up. That was kinda funny.
My husband and I went out a few nights ago for Korean food! It was at a mall…..
On our last date we ate out at a Turkish restaurant.
