All of SUBWAY restaurant’s eight children’s meals, which include a 4” sub, apple slices and low-fat milk or bottled water, amount to less than 430 calories, less than 35% fat, 0 % trans fat, 35% added sugars and 770 mg of sodium, and meet both the expert and industry nutrition standards (CSPI’s and the National Restaurant Association’s Kids LiveWell Nutrition Standards).

  3. My children love eatting at Subway. They enjoy getting to stand in line and pick all the veggies they want on their sandwiches. I think it is a great place to take the family out to eat, and it is healthy.

  16. Ever since my husband and I started Weight Watchers, we go there at least once a week!! We get the same things every time: 6 inch flat bread with egg whites and all veggies for breakfast and a foot long that we split with black forest ham, all veggies, and mustard for lunch.

    Too bad our Subway doesn’t have the frequent customer cards because we would have earned multiple free sandwiches by now!!

    I love your blog! I love to see how I too can save.and get great deals. I have got my co-workers hooked too. I hope I can win big and give the card to my daughter who will be going back to college for the summer. She is INCREDIBLE and loves to save money like me. I used to be a HUGE fan of Subway for many years until about 4 years ago… The ‘sandwich artist’ was adding mayo to my sub, broke the top off the mayo, and poured more than half the bottle into my sandwich…And still gave it to me. When I opened up the sandwich it was basically mayo soup. The image will never leave my mind…and haven’t eaten there since. lol. Maybe this certificate will get me to try it again:)

  197. My four kids love Subway and think it is a special treat when I show up to school with a “fast food” lunch instead of the boring school lunches. And I love that I can give them healthy, convenient fast food that tastes great. Pick me and make me a hero at lunch tomorrow!

  200. I like subway. It would be nice to get the giftcard. It’s funny because today my husband was told he is over weight at his physical and needed to get into shape. So a subway card would be nice to start showing him how to eat better.

  204. Oh my word I just can’t get past the 1,010 calories for the Chili’s meal – deplorable!

    Subway is the ‘go to’ meal for DH and I on nights we don’t want to cook at home. Frugal and good for you – how can you go wrong?

  215. Everytime I give my little guy a choice of where he wants to eat he choses Subway because he loves the sandwiches and apple slices! He’s 4.5 and when we are driving he will say look Mommy Subway yum!
