It was a little confusing about whether or not I had to become a member. I thought if I chose the extra books it would sign me up, so I clicked no on that part. The part I signed up for said no obligation to purchase. Do you know if I will be able to cancel before any more items are shipped (besides the introductory books, audio book, and backpack)? I don’t want to pay any more than the $5.95 I already paid.

Hi Tiffany, FYI, the fine print membership agreement on the main page where you get this deal says if you decide to cancel the membership, you have to RETURN the 5 free books at your cost and you only get to keep the free backpack. So if you are not planning on staying a member, you are paying $5.95 to get the backpack and will have to pay yourself to return the 5 free books.

They didn’t make it easy to understand, that’s for sure! I had all my information filled out and was ready to buy, but being an attorney turned stay at home mom I had to read every bit of the fine print:) I think their offer is misleading because the large print makes it seem like you are getting a great deal because you can cancel anytime, but then in small print it says you have to return the 5 books if you cancel.

They are on Facebook and seem to be active in answering questions so maybe they could clear this up. It would be nice to be able to keep the original books and possibly even buy the offered next two books if we could cancel anything further.
Please disregard my last comment. When I came back to the page, I looked closer at the previous comments and saw that they were from last year at the same time (Dr. Seuss’s b-day week). They must have removed the part about having to return the 5 free books if cancelling the membership because I read all of the small print and don’t see it there.
So I’m still confused will I have to return the books if I cancel after I receive them?
