Does this work for the Leapster2? If so I couldn’t figure it out. . . any tips?
Argh! I was downloading them and I think my daughter (4) hit a button on her Leapster Explorer and the program disappeared from the screen. They didn’t download, it says I have never downloaded an app (which is wrong, I downloaded a free one the first day) and when I enter the code again, I get the message saying it worked, but it does nothing! She quickly went to bed by herself after that!
I retract my comment…they are on there now!

We already have the Alphabet Stew from when we 1st purchased the Leapster Explorer in Christmas 2010 and now for my Son’s 4th Birthday we upgraded him to the Leappad and passed down the Explorer to our 2 year old who LOVES it. We dont have the ebook so it will be a nice addition to their collection 🙂 I love that once you download an app it is applied to both machines. YAY!!

Thanks. This was simple. Just go to Apps Center, to the left is Redeem Code, click it and type in the code, plug in the Explorer and it downloads. Unfortunately, I had already paid for the Alphabet Stew before I found the codes.

I CANT GET THE GAME TO PLAY DO I HAVE TO KEEP THE LEAP PAD CONNECTED TO COMPUTER IF SO HOW DO I GET IT TO START PLAYING. I HAVE A PICTURE OF A COMPUTER AND MY LEAPPAD ON FRONT OF THE SYSTEM. HOW YOU GET THAT OFF OF THE LEAP PAD SO YOU CAN PLAY ON IT?
