JC Penney has sent out an email today that will give you $10 off a $10 purchase. If you are not currently already signed up with them, you won’t be able to get it. But if they are going to your spam make sure to check for it.
In another desperate attempt to get customers to come back to their stores after they insulted and called Moms who coupon “stupid” they are giving out a free $10. Sure, I will take your free $10 and purchase something for $9.50 and get it free. But I won’t spend any of my hard earned money in one of their stores until they get rid of the CEO and CFO, who currently think being condescending and hateful to the very people who shop in their stores and make decisions for their families is a good idea.

That’s exactly what I thought when I saw the email, Oooh, good, I can go get something free at JCP! Not, oh good, I can save $10 off the JCP purchase I was already planning… because, well, I’m not planning any purchases otherwise, but I can come get something for free since you’re offering it. I’m not over their insult either. 🙂

Since everyone is venting about JcPenney’s…I feel like I want to vent about JcPenney. I work for a boat mfg company in AZ and we had a CEO (what he called himself) whom lived and managed us from CA. But he had that mentality that he could come in an change things and make them better with NO experience or ideas about building and manufacturing boats. It was ridiculous. And the whole JCPENNY’s CEO BS reminds me of this. We are going to change everything and make it better…Give me a break.
That CEO reminds me of obama’s comment that ‘we live in the greatest country in the world. Now help me change it.’ Huh?!
