There are a number of counterfeit and fraudulent coupons going around the Houston area. The ones we have seen lately AGAIN, are the high value Tide and Cottonelle coupons.
There is a $5,000 reward and a $2500 reward to find the people responsible for distributing these coupons. Do NOT print these coupons or accept them from friends. It is THEFT and SHOPLIFTING if you are using them. You will be prosecuted!!
A legitimate coupon from P&G will NEVER, EVER, EVER be a printable coupon that you can print as many times as you like, EVER.
You can also never photocopy a coupon that you print from the internet.
Let me reminder you of three reasons why you do NOT copy coupons:
- Each printable coupon has a unique ID which you can validate at Veri-Fi.com
- The store will NOT be reimbursed for multiples of the same unique ID
- It can and will ruin it for the rest of us
If you ever are not sure about a coupon or have a question on how to properly use them, please always ask around.
Visit the CIC HERE and see a list of known fraudulent coupons.

This is so sad and dumb and it is hurting the ones that are doing the right thing with the coupons. Things like this makes me want to stop couponing because of stupidity like counterfeiting coupons. I hope they catch whoever it is and take them to jail.

I got this coupon today here in AR. As an avid couponer, I knew that something was right when my friend said that her other fiend had printed the coupons 10 times! The other tip off was the fact that it was a pdf with three of the same coupon on the same page and upon closer examination, 2 different dates printed around the border. It’s things like this that make it bad for those of us who are honest couponers!

It is so sad that people do stuff like that. People are thinking these coupons are okay and using them. The retailers are taking them. So they end up losing out. I saw many people using them at Target. It is really sad…..

Someone was passing them out at church & I told them it was fraud but they did not listen. This makes honest couponers like myself look real bad.. ..ugh..

I was just in ShopRite in upstate New York and saw two girls using these coupons. I saw the managers talking about it, but they let it slide. When he came over to my lane I told him you shouldn’t except those coupons that they are a fraud and he was just like, oh, they usually email us for fraud coupons.
