Sadly, this is where I am at with this right now….
I received an email this morning with this coupon code and it started nothing about being a deposit. I realize the coupon says “deposit” but as we all know, coupon codes can be anything for any reason! I shopped early this morning and checked out paying with Pay Pal and saw GRAND TOTAL: $252.12 and paid it.
Then I left for a few hours and in the mean time, a few readers gave me the heads up that it was a deposit and not the total. I also got an invoice from One Good Thread for $900 and some dollars. Confused I called the company, no one answered and I left a message. I also emailed and asked them to cancel my order.
These are the following emails:
Tiffany:
Hi,
I need to cancel my order, how can I did that?
Thanks
Tiffany
Them:
Interesting. I was just told my one of our customers that an entity “my litters” posted this as a discount when it is CLEARLY a deposit code. I just noticed that that was the same as your email address. Do you have a website? I will cancel the order and send a request to accounting to get your DEPOSIT refunded.
Thanks!
Tiffany:
Yes exactly. I was sent an email that did not make this clear. Please cancel my order. I have also called and left a message.
Thanks
Tiffany
Them:
We would be happy to do that once you post that that code was GROSSLY distorted and misrepresented. Thanks!
Well isn’t that interesting… I don’t know about you, but personally I don’t like to be threatened or held hostage AND attempted to be bribed, or told what I have to post on my site. A while earlier, as soon as I realized what the code was for I crossed off the info and let you all know. Now apparently this company wants to not refund my $250 and threaten me.
What is sad is that they could have turned this into a good experience for you all and me. They could have offered a different discount code for say 10% off for MyLitter readers or free shipping or something like that. But instead they want to be rude and show what HORRIBLE customer service they have. This is an example of what NOT to do as a business. Word travels fast on the internet and between bloggers, who power a lot of online traffic. We like to work with companies who treat their customers well. I would be horrified to find out that a reader was treated like this from a company that I posted about. Needless to say, I would never recommend them to anyone and would stay FAR away!

NOPE not a good deal! You are preordering or paying for the upfront 25%, you will be invoiced for the rest. The email that I got was COMPLETELY different then the info in the fine print. Thank you to savvy readers (Amanda, Bonnie and Jennifer!) who read all the fine print…. Which is a good reminder why you should not ordering something at 5am.
HEADS UP!!!
If you like the designer brands for little girls clothing but don’t like the price, you can get free shipping and 75% off TODAY at One Good Thread!!
I just bought all my girls Easter dresses and Christmas dresses for next year at what would have been $1,000, for $250. That is 10 different designer dresses, skirts and shirts for my 5 girls.

When you check out and use coupon code DEPOSIT25, you will get 75% taken off your order. This even worked on clearance items. Everything is selling out fast, so head on over!

Just checking – when I looked at the page with the skirt pictured above it states that its a preorder item and there are three payment options – it shows code DEPOSIT25 as a payment plan not necessarily a 75% discount – am I reading this wrong? I really love the outfit!
Thank you guys for the heads up!!!
If I’m reading the fine print correctly, it’s just a deposit until the item ships and then you will be charged the remaining amount.
Hey, I’m pretty sure these items are NOT 75% off. I think you put a deposit on the order and when they are shipped you are charged for the balance.
Hey Tiffany…Just wanted to warn you about this deal. I commented earlier and it didn’t show up. This is not 75% off your order, its 25% down now and the additional 75% will be charged once the items ship. Here is the fine print directly off the site…
There are 3 preorder options with us, all of which include FREE SHIPPING:
Paid in full, NO CODE needed
25% Deposit with Free Shipping Use Code: DEPOSIT25 (payment plan)
50% Deposit with Free Shipping Use Code: DEPOSIT50 (pay remaining when in stock
Hope that helps!!
Hi Tiffany, I too ordered and paid without reading the fine print….
So have you recieved any resolution?
I also emailed and called requesting a refund and no response 🙁
Yes my money was refunded a little bit ago after I filed a dispute with PayPal. I am so sorry you got caught up in this mess! Please let me know when you get your money back.
This is the email I just got from them:
“We will cancel the order and I will send a request to accounting to have your monies refunded. Can you please tell me who you got the code from and inform them of this gross misrepresentation of a deposit code which is being fraudulently posted as a discount? Thank you!
I am still a little confused how the word “deposit” gets misconstrued as “discount”?? :)”
Same here! Let me know when you get your money back! I have never seen a site that has you pay 25% then invoices you the remainder and demands payment within 24 hours. So strange!!!
I agree with you Tiffany they are not customer service oriented in the least!
Thanks for the heads up! Will definitely steer clear of this company!
I work for a major credit card processing center and have for over 20 years. If this merchant refuses to give any of you back your money go to your issuing bank and request a chargeback dispute. Most issuing banks will refund your account withing 24 hrs and some will instantly. I’m so glad I read this post and will not be using their site
I would suggest to email them a request to cancel your order and save their response. Attach it to the paper work for the chargeback dispute. This reflects an attempt to work it out in good faith
